"Steam keys will be distributed on the same day as the release date, but other platforms will, unfortunately, be distributed at a later timing. We physically cannot resolve this issue and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." Glad to hear console game codes are not delayed.

Dude, that's like saying "I'm not late, I just didn't get here on time". Doesn't matter who is suppose to send us the codes, but it's clear that Fangamer is not the publisher, so Inti Creates was suppose to get these codes from Nintendo & SONY. So unless someone at  Inti Creates hit "Save" on the e-mail to Fangamer instead of "Send", pretty sure the reason why they don't have the code is because Inti Creates didn't give SONY & Nintendo enough time.

By all means, continue insinuating that everyone who's not particularly upset by the inconvenience and/or believes it to be a result of no malicious intent on the developers' part likes to be screwed by companies. That's surely true and not an aggressive attitude at all.

There's no need to get yourself ejected from a community to make your point. Be civil and respectful of others. These are fellow fans who want the same thing, really. For constructive criticism, understand IntiCreates is not present on this forum. Seek them out on their Facebook if you wish to let your opinion on game codes, DLC, how they handle business, etc.

We won't tolerate disrespect. Also, if someone feels a moderator is needed, report a post or send a message. Taking it upon yourself to moderate can cause problems. Reporting a post can be done with the gear icon on every post.

Redogan Agreed. The word that characterized this release the most to me would be "rushed." Which is absurd. They literally had as much time as they wanted to get things set up not only with the various platforms, but with Fangamer so that all information was correct and final when we got it. Instead they botched every possible step they could, from not letting Fangamer know what platforms were going to be available to forgetting that the presence or lack of DRM was something people might actually care about to setting a release date without having the keys ready for that date.

Almost everything that happened was a failure of communication. Yeah, the DRM thing was going to be a blunder no matter what, and it was fairly disheartening to see an indie project take the same stance on DRM as AAA publishers, but everything else would have been solved by simply waiting until everything was ready *before* announcing anything about the release. This is pretty much a vivid demonstration of why 505 Games hasn't given an exact release date yet.

Malicious intent exists. Refusing to offer a DRM-Free version, is malicious in more than one way. First, it buffs up Steam's monopoly and screws over a very large audience, DRM-Free gamers. A part of which, even boycotts games, which never come out DRM-Free. Their attitude replying to people inquiring about, although not directly "malicious", was insulting at worst and insensitive at best, since there is a large demand, for this feature. And certain backers participated, only to get a DRM-Free version packed together. Guys even dared to claim that absence of DRM makes pirating easier; all the while backers backed up, in good faith that they get serviced properly!

Seriously, at least for me, Inti-Creates is in my blacklist. They deserve all negative feedback targeting them, since they treat a large portion of gamers, like second class citizens. Someone having an attitude is excused, only when they are competent and can get the job done; not where and when they mess up and fail supporters hard, promise or no promise... No DRM-Free, plus delay, plus attitude; what next?

If 505 games delay Rotn, count then how many people will nag. I bet that those are going to be much less, than those nagging here, for Cotm and Inti-Creates. Because they listen to backers, service them properly, maintain a truly professional relationship, in one word, THEY CARE. And they don't insult an entire part of the gamers' audience.
