We are almost there, Thursday is just a few days off now. So my question to you is how will you play the games, will you rush through or slow down to enjoy it, what platform are you playing it on, and what do you think the story will be(beyond the general information we already have.)

We are almost there, Thursday is just a few days off now. So my question to you is how will you play the games, will you rush through or slow down to enjoy it, what platform are you playing it on, and what do you think the story will be(beyond the general information we already have.) I plan on taking my time with the game the first time through, but once I finish it I'm gonna try to do solo runs (which I'm hoping will be possible once you've beaten the game at least once) with each of the game's characters (so I'd do like a Zengetsu only run, a Miriam only run, a Alfred only run, & a Gebel only run) and then if there are any unlockable modes (like a boss rush mode), etc. I'll try unlocking & playing through them last. As for the platform I'll be playing it on, well it will be the Nintendo 3DS mainly because I was hoping they'd do some cool 3D effects for that version of the game (which I found out may not be the case ) and given the game's inspiration I felt it was appropriate to play it on a Nintendo system. Now story wise I have no idea what it's gonna be and I've generally tried to stay away from story discussions/predictions as I want to try going in essentially as blind as possible.

My first playthrough will be slower. I like to look for secrets, shortcuts, clues, and lore. If there are bonuses for playing fast (such as different endings), I will attempt them after I have carefully explored the game world. It is great when a game encourages multiple runs! I plan to play it on PC.
As far as the story is concerned, my wild and uninformed guess is that the story will be roughly parallel to that of the main game. Some of the same bosses might appear in a similar order. The world might "feel" like the same castle, and it might be explored in the same order. Characters could use abilities that are derived from their RotN versions. It might be something like stories that have a "book version" and a "movie version." It is essentially the same, but not identical. Having said that, I hope I am mistaken. Even if they have decided that it is not a prequel, it would be great to see this game and RotN directly connected somehow.
Either way, though, I am ready for some Bloodstained!
