roguedragon05 no you haven't missed anything. Backers will not be getting codes early to the best of my knowledge. Game journalists make mistakes like that without repercussions or regard to the disappointment their wrong information can cause.

XombieMike not really disappointed myself, waiting till the 24th is still waiting till the 24th regardless of when the codes comes, (Though it would be nice to know how/when were going to receive them ahead of time) I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything specially since they so recently sprung the slacker backer deadline on us and announced Curse and such, I have a feeling things will start happening faster over then next couple months and beyond.

True enough, but in this case I think the writer misunderstood Iga's comments about the codes. It may even get people interested in backing last minute, who knows, heh $28 for the main game plus all goals, including this...can't get over that. $60, sure, but that's still a value too. |

Oh, the news of CotM in general you mean? Absolutely. I meant more that one article saying that backers already had codes, but yes, CotM being a thing is whipping up quite the stir.
I still hope though that Inti gets some great sales in its standard launch.

I'm starting to like that the subtitle's acronym is the same as a certain GBA Castlevania game -- Circle of the Moon.
Now I have to type them as "CVCotM" and "BSCotM", respectively.

Some people didn't know you could still back the project via Fangamer (until May 14th). They thought they missed the Kickstarter and it was all over. But I helped at least one person realize you could still back it once the retro game news broke. It's been good PR for the game. And while I may nitpick this or that without hands-on time to clarify my feelings, there is a ton of value coming out of this Kickstarter. Like Galamoth, I too find the CotM thing interesting. |

Oh gosh, all I want (besides playing the game already, mind you) is more lore and info and details on the bosses. The designs are SO GREAT and interesting.

Galamoth yeah that is going to be weird, circle of the moon was the first castlevania game I remember playing second one I played was Castlevania: The Adventure. demiurgos I though it was made only for gba it's not like Mega man battle network 5.

I'm think he actually worked as producer on the localization ... so, not on the game itself, but on the localization. It was done in Konami's Kobe office, if I remember correctly, and Iga was in the Tokyo office. It was really good, nonetheless. Kick-ass last battle! |

Yes, you are absolutely right. I just wanted to point out that all of the GBA/DS Castlevanias were made by IGA, except for Circle of the Moon. And technically it is a Castlevania game for the OG DS and DS lite, as the DS itself will play both GBA and DS games. However, you are absolutely right that the DSi or DSi XL/LL will not be able to play CotM and that it was made with the GBA handheld in mind. |

demiurgos True I still have my DS lite, Gamecube Gameboy Player and GBA SP so I get alot of choices for playing GBA games, I still regret not buying more gba games when they were cheap some time around 2007-2008.
