I never played anything further than the Castlevania games on SNES and I'm really hyped for this game nevertheless... Maybe IGA really has magical powers! :-P

XombieMike: What's the best way for me to play this? I have a Sega Saturn but the version on this platform seems crap. There is the PS1 but I would need an emulator. I have pretty much all emulators available on my Wii but nothing higher than TG16. Maybe I should try Rondo of Blood on it?

I would recommend the xbox 360 live arcade version. It's pretty good. If you want the best mobile experience, The Dracula X Chronicles is a remake of Rondo on PSP and also comes with a port of SotN. If you have a PS1 or 2 and can find the game thats also a good way.

Just as XombieMike said your best bet is either the 360 Arcade version or the one on Dracula X chronicles. Though I still enjoy playing the Sega Saturn version if only for how broken Maria is in that version. |

Thanks! I only own a Saturn, PC, Ps3/4 and Wii/WiiU. Don't have any Microsoft consoles. I found a super good Ps1 and Ps2 emulators and got the rom for SoTN. I finally remember playing it some years ago but never played all of it. Was just testing it earlier but finally was not able to let it go and pretty much got a little while after first boss before stopping... So good of a game lol :-)
Is there a way to know what button inputs are the spells? Unlocked 3 by doing some tests with my controller but not much else...

BlackbassYou can purchase some inputs from within the library. Then there is always looking them up on the internet lol. I forget a few of the inputs, the sword brothers is the hardest to execute.
