Hello! I'm a newbie to the Castlevania games (seeing as I only remember playing Castlevania 64 centuries ago... when I was like ....8. >>) But I'm super stoked for Bloodstained! <3 Even if Gothic based stuff always creeped me out (Bloodbourne for example) I've always found Castlevania fascinating. :') Sadly, I couldn't Back the game due to financial issues but I hope to buy the game when it's comes out! (If it comes out for the 3Ds that is!) So, yeah- super excited and hope to get to know you folks! You all seem pretty chill a breath of fresh air from the rest of the internet x)

Hello Everyone. I'm looking forward to backing Bloodstained as soon as I see that Paypal Slacker Backer pop up! I was hearing ppl on the Shenmue 3 KS talking about Bloodstained but when I looked it up the project was over. Castlevania was pretty epic as were the sequels so hearing this title is now a reality I must support it. Are there any estimates when the Paypal will be in place. Thanks! *7/25 Update: Thanks to H posting the quick link and Slacker Backer info. below I successfully picked up an Alchemist's Treasure pack a little while ago. Bloodstained will be a great new addition to the genre and I applaud all of you for believing in the future of these type of games. Hi everyone! I just backed this for $100, I initially missed the boat and was extremely upset about not being able to back this, but then I saw that amazing slacker backer option! Needless to say I'm ecstatic, I thought I missed my chance but I'm so happy I was able to back this game. I don't have a lot of experience with Castlevania aside from a few games when I was little, but this game alone looks like it will be absolutely incredible, I can't wait for it! I'm really happy to be a part of this community, and from what I hear, the official forums will be up soon? I run a press agency named Moonkeep Studios, and I was indeed the fellow who translated the Kickstarter flyer runes a few months back.
Yes, those that were posted to Facebook's "Operation: Akumajo" page, of which I also help moderate.
But, since we're all IGAvania fans here, I should dispense with the formality and get down to brass tacks.
I'm here to follow and interact with the community, write editorials, get to know the people behind the magic, and celebrate the return of classic 2D platforming.
My favorite pastimes are video games, reading up on mythology, writing, photography, cooking, event planning, and socializing.
A few favorite games series of mine are as follows: Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Brandish, Suikoden, Lunar, The Legend of Zelda, and (of course) Castlevania.
If you'd like to know more about myself or what I do, please don't hesitate to ask.
