I knew they were specified as different goals on the campaign page, and that hasn't changed at all since then, but that didn't stop me from worrying.

I filled out the survey alright. I even upgraded my pledge to the $125 tier because I'm a crazy person.

well, that boxart is pretty similar to boris vallejos art style, the harder part of imitating that art styles dress is actually finding a comparably dressed (or at all) female costume that would adequately translate back to the classicvania art which then could translate into the characters world

that being said, this fact COULD work in the artists favor because this leaves a sort of artistic blind spot you could really explore

Anyhow, outfits that reference old Castlevania titles is an idea I'm all for. The vibe of an outfit can be easily replicated without infringing copyright, because it just has to feel the same, not look the same. I can also think of lots of potential outfits: Maria Renard (SotN), Richter (Rondo of Blood), Alucard (SotN), Simon/Trevor (Castlevania 1&3 - lets face it, they both look the same), Sypha (Castlevania 3) ... even Leon Belmont (Lament of Innocence) could work.

I hope the survey works out well for the team and the community... there's lots that can be done to celebrate and the game and its launch (or one year anniversary, or whatever).

What I'd like to know is the nature of the multiplayer/co-op, as well as whether or not it will be functional at launch.

I agree that games (and any media in general) should be released when they're ready and not before. However, I also believe in keeping deadlines, especially ones you set for yourself/your team. IGA already gave himself an extra year. Next month, people will expect him to announce either a release date or another delay. The latter will lose a lot of trust with people. He really should've said Q4 2018 from the get-go, and if he finished earlier then great. The survey itself seems to imply that if Bloodstained is released before late 2018 then it will be released as an unfinished product that will need to be patched over a few months, and that already has me worried.

Hah, my fault, let me clear that.

Probably after the 18th.

If not that, then probably E3.
