Today, I went to a local grocery store and came across these sandwich cookies. They looked like Oreo knock-offs:



They're called "Joe-Joe's". I just had to buy them, because something about the name clicked with me.

I think the vanilla-bean creme is compelling me to go on a bizarre adventure.

Sorry to hear about your flooding issue. I feel your pain with the vacuuming. A couple of years back my hot water heater started pumping water out of the overflow nonstop during the night. We woke up to 2 inches of standing water in our basement. It even got under the carpet in our basement bedroom. Luckily, I was able to vacuum it all out/dry it with fans, etc. before it did any major damage. But that was an all day affair.

So, how was Crimes of Grindelwald? I saw the first one and enjoyed.

This is not really for this very day but for a recent accomplishment:

Hmmm.

Big shift about to happen in the company that I'm privy to that most of those that will be effected have no clue of. That said, one of said folks is currently targeting me for petty reasons (blows my mind that this goes on in an international company).

But in more important news, my eight year old son planned, staged, and ran a magic show with admission without any parental assistance. A ticket booth was created complete with muffins (his 6 year old brother made and sold them and was responsible for tracking the revenue) for sale and our three year old acted as the greeter and showed people to their numbered seats.

He wrote down and memorized a script and performed a number of tricks for his audience of seven that lasted about 45 minutes.

Lepstadder You know what's actually dumb? My smartphone for letting me get into it without my usual passcode.

It baffles me that even though it's set-up that way, to require re-entering of the passcode after "waking up" from sleep mode... I can just swiftly swipe up, and it lets me access everything instantly.

We use flip phones as well. I only need a phone to be a phone after all anyway.
