A simple yes or no would do, but feel free to expand the thoughts below with details if you want to pinpoint the actual idea.
There are no official statements on any of them!
- Miriam will at some point crying in the game or have tears close to falling, a way to make her more human?
- Goofball appears as a symbol or as a statue in the game. Either in a few rooms (or one room) or in the menu.
- Johannes will be trying to use his whip against Alfred?
- Will the levelcap be 255?
- Dominique and Zangetsu will be playable characters?
- Before making the final blow against the end boss, you get to decide his (or hers) fate?
- Modding will be allowed through an external service provided by 505 Games?
- Are there multiple endings in Bloodstained?
- Mac & Cheese will give you close to full health, and is the most powerful food for health in the game?
- The prequel mini-game is about Zangetsu's journey from wherever he is up until the moment Miriam wakes up from her coma?
- The castle is shaped by Gebel's subconscious and with no real focus, except the parts for Miriam?
- Only way to get Swordwhip is to defeat IGA?
- At least one room will be pitch black and of need of some kind of lightsource, item, switch or skill to get pass through.
- Amiibo for Nintendo Switch will give Miriam an alternative costume, this will result in a DLC feature for the rest of the consoles / PC to get the same costume to make everything fair or perhaps sold in a bundle when it comes to the PS Vita version?

If curious, my answer is yes on all of them.
Edit: About 6, I didn't mean like a menu. I ment you equip something before or during battle to trigger a special fate. Like 1 special amulet will trigger a speech. 1 special weapon would kill the boss clean etc. Even have them in tiers which means, even if you had 1 special weapon but also the special amulet, it would trigger one of them. Or, in another case, sealing ones fate could just be an open window for 3 seconds, where you deal a killing blow, or leave the boss without doing so to trigger at least 2 different endings, which could have sub-categories on what you did or what you wore or how much you explored during the adventure.

Yay, more questions! Pure Miriam Join in the fun. Green text for answers from me, as always.1. Miriam is bound to have more "human" moments than Shanoa, I'm sure. I'm willing to bet that Miriam's story will not, at any point, involve being robbed of her emotions and memories.2. I imagine we might see Goofball as a plush cosmetic accessory.3. He must whip it, and whip it GOOD!! (Okay, not my most serious answer. I don't think he'll actually use it ever.)4. If this game is all-around more difficult than the likes of Order of Ecclesia & Circle of the Moon, then I imagine 255 as the highest-achievable Level to be a possibility to help accommodate less skilled players.5. I think at least Zangetsu will be. The fact that Dominique sometimes leaves her Shop does make plenty of people think she'll be playable too.6. Since that's not necessarily an Igavania trend, I can't make a plausible prediction on that.7. We'll see. I'm not too keen on that possible feature yet.8. I actually hope there will be. I personally love the idea of "Secret Endings".9. It would be an awesome feeling for most forum participants here to even have Mac 'n Cheese as a food item in the first place, I'm sure! 10. All we know is that it will shed some light on the world's events prior to Miriam's awakening from a 10-year coma. I'm betting on both Zangetsu and the "Mysterious Man".11. Gebel's Castle is presumably summoned directly from Hell itself, and Gebel intended it to be a home for Miriam. Whether that literally means the entire castle, or just one small section of it, is not exactly clear (I'm willing to say the former). Let's not forget that Gebel has forgotten his original reasoning for summoning it.12. I do believe so. That would be great incentive to challenge him; rather than purposely avoiding him to acquire this "unique" weapon another way.13. That would be neat, now wouldn't it? Like SotN's Catacombs, and OoE's Mystery Manor.14. Only if there is amiibo for Bloodstained, which I actually doubt.15. That would be neat, now wouldn't it?MY TEXT COLOR IS GLORIOUS!!!

Called by Galamoth , it's my civil duty to answer those questions. Answered in Enchant Shard yellow color. Here goes: 1) Miriam will at some point crying in the game or have tears close to falling, a way to make her more human? I think so. IGA said that Miriam is the most human character he ever created. That may sound bad, but, from what i know about games and animes, Japanese authors aren't very good on creating female characters, so, i really hope that Miriam can break out of this trend to show a more human side for us.2) Goofball appears as a symbol or as a statue in the game. Either in a few rooms (or one room) or in the menu. It has been stated before that they are preparing "something" regarding Goofball (i think) but never stated what. Goofball will not be a familiar, since that would break the backer's poll, but i believe it will make a great cameo. A statue in the game would be awesome. But you know what would be more awesome? If Miriam has a room for her and, among the furniture you can pick up, you could find a Goofball doll / statue or something like that.3) Johannes will be trying to use his whip against Alfred? I believe Johannes and Alfred does have something between them so, yes, why not? I can't see Johannes's whip as just a decoration.;4) Will the levelcap be 255? 255 is a programming number, that's why it was used. I believe it is a safe choice, but i don't really know. That's a hard question.5) Dominique and Zangetsu will be playable characters? Yes. Zangetsu is our Belmont and Dominique is just too hot and stylish for not be in the game as a playable character.6) Before making the final blow against the end boss, you get to decide his (or hers) fate? I prefer if that happened way before the fight against the end boss.7) Modding will be allowed through an external service provided by 505 Games? I don't see why not, although this requires some effort that it will only happen if the game is sucessful enough for that.8) Are there multiple endings in Bloodstained? I'm sure of it. There is really no Igavania without multiple endings.9) Mac & Cheese will give you close to full health, and is the most powerful food for health in the game? Although that could be a good idea, i don't believe that. I think Mac & Cheese will be in the game somehow, will be a GOOD health item, but not the best food in the game, no. 10) The prequel mini-game is about Zangetsu's journey from wherever he is up until the moment Miriam wakes up from her coma? That seems to be the case. THer eis a 10 years gap between Miriam falling into torpor and the start of Miriam's adventure. Why not explore that?11) The castle is shaped by Gebel's subconscious and with no real focus, except the parts for Miriam? I believe the caste, coming from hell itself, has a shape based on humanity as a whole, since it came from the dimension where humans are punished for their sins. So, the castle may try to represent most aspects of humans and their culture.12) Only way to get Swordwhip is to defeat IGA? I think so. Why they would create a boss and a weapon avaliable only to some backers (and maybe DLC) if you can make that weapon avaliable by some other mean?13) At least one room will be pitch black and of need of some kind of lightsource, item, switch or skill to get pass through. Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Dissonance did that (and Super Metroid also did that), so, although this is a bit overused, i don't see why not. Anything that increases the game's length and forces you to go find progression stuff is a must.14) Amiibo for Nintendo Switch will give Miriam an alternative costume, this will result in a DLC feature for the rest of the consoles / PC to get the same costume to make everything fair or perhaps sold in a bundle when it comes to the PS Vita version? It could be either armor or some kind of weapon with a glow or intense color. Someone from the dev team let it slip something bigger than that. In a answer at the facebook page, when someone commented about Miriam's Santa Hat, it said that it would be awesome if you could change Miriam's default dress colors and some clothes colors, the official facebook page for the game said something along the lines of "It would be good if the guy who answers this page also love that feature and had already asked for it...right?" My duty is finished.

Goofball appears as a symbol or as a statue in the game. Either in a few rooms (or one room) or in the menu. I'm not sure how Iga's decision to go with the cool knight familiar affects the likelihood for the other 3 familiars (including goofball) to appear in the game in any other form. But I'd sorta expect goofball by now.
Johannes will be trying to use his whip against Alfred? I think there is an above-average chance of this.
Will the levelcap be 255? My first thought was no, since nowadays 255 isn't as seemingly a magical of a number as it once used to be (as a representation of some total limit, such as only one 8-bit value can do), and that level 100 would make more sense in today's times. But I can see 255 working here just as well.
Dominique and Zangetsu will be playable characters? Yes.
Before making the final blow against the end boss, you get to decide his (or hers) fate? Instead of before the final blow, this should occur before entering the starting point of the final section of the game with the appropriate boss, as determined by the selected fate, if that makes any sense.
Modding will be allowed through an external service provided by 505 Games? I'm actually not too familiar with the modding scene, but I feel modding can be done outside of 505 games in addition to with this external service as well.
Are there multiple endings in Bloodstained? Yes, I highly, highly expect multiple endings to be possible (for them trophies/achievements!)
Mac & Cheese will give you close to full health, and is the most powerful food for health in the game? Yes, but the Elixir Donut will do that AND replenish magic points too (maybe not).
The prequel mini-game is about Zangetsu's journey from wherever he is up until the moment Miriam wakes up from her coma? That can work, sure.
The castle is shaped by Gebel's subconscious and with no real focus, except the parts for Miriam? No. The castle will have some focus, but we as players will not know the true details behind it all until past the halfway-point of the game.
Only way to get Swordwhip is to defeat IGA? Yes, I can see this being implemented. The Swordwhip must be really worth it though.

Iunno, crying/sadness just seems a bit typical when it comes to humanizing characters. It's the easy option. The microwave burrito of writing if you will. I'd rather her be humanized by seeing her explore more negative emotions/traits. Let's see some jealousy, anger, drive for some straight up murder revenge, etc.
Realistically though yeah, we're going to see her crying. I love Iga's work but every single character the man creates is just a walking jumble of tropes. Not his strength.

I don't really picture Johannes as somebody who would be quick to attack an old mentor, so no.

Since it's pretty heavily implied that our Miram's level/items will be able to be kept when bouncing between normal/rougelite/totally not Harmony of Despair modes, it kind of has to be that high, if not higher. Nobody wants to hit a level cap way before they're done with the game's content. Iga's last game had a 255 level cap, so I can't imagine him reverting.

Yes on Zangetsu, no on Dominique. My longshot bet is on Gebel.

Really depends on the level of post launch support this game is going to get. If there's plans for DLC/future content releases, I can picture there being some sanctioned modding tools being released. At worst modding is just going to be tolerated without official support.
Are there multiple endings in Bloodstained?
Smart money is on three endings.
1: You kill some boss in the middle of the game without doing some sort of obligatory and not that hard to find "secret" so the game just ends for *plot reason.* (let's be honest guys, the "secret" endings of the game haven't been even remotely hard to find since AoS.)
2: You kill the last boss of the second castle that we all know is going to be in the game, but you didn't do something random so you get an unsatisfying ending. Bonus points if getting the "real" ending requires you to wear some shit piece of equipment that a main character gave you earlier. (See: Dawn of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance)
3: You did the random thing and/or wore the mcguffin so you get treated to the real ending. Possibility of a "true final form" of the end boss exists in this scenario.
Mac & Cheese will give you close to full health, and is the most powerful food for health in the game?
Nah, although savory foods tend to heal more in Igavanias so I'm sure it will be a mid to upper tier of food item

1. If involving my alchemy lore/story theory, then yes. If other, then no. I don't think crying is weak in anyway, in fact it would be closer to classic epics, where the hero always cried. I just feel it is misunderstood and overplayed for female heroes these days. 2. No. First it would feel out of place to me, if the atmosphere is the dark, baroque castle I desire, and second, I still have hope that Goofball will make it into the game as a buddy! 3. Only if it makes sense. (I still think Johannes isn't such a good person, and I want Alfred to be an ally.) 4. No. I would prefer 99. Each level would be more meaningful. 5. Yes/No. Dominique + Alfred please! 6. Yes, if by before you mean through game progression choices a few hours before final boss (Not counting speed runs). 7. Non issue to me, PS4. 8. YES! 9. Yes. 10. Yes. This could make it so the 2 other playable characters will be Dominique and Alfred. 11. Yes, as long as his subconscious is dark, brooding, and classic. 12. No. Should be locked to exclusive backer-only content from $60+ tiers, but I want it to be separate from the super-powerful hidden boss if possible. 13. Yes. Allows for skilled speed runners to Sequence Break if they want, while having some cool backtracking for others. 14. No. Either you have one console getting exclusive content by doing this, or you are making paid DLC for other systems to catch up. Either way I don't like the idea of paying for more content once a game is released unless it is an expansion. 15. Yes 100%. Customization is always fun.

Oh yeah and about #4 and the level cap, the cap in the 2016 demo was indeed just 99 as we learned from the forum's grinding escapades (mostly Leo): bloodstainedfanforums.com/post/34036They could very well change it to 255, of course, but at least as of that time it was set to 99 and you can see what formula of growth they were using in that thread.

In OoE the cap of 255 was locked behind Hard Mode level 1, so I can imagine a level cap bump could be hiding behind nightmare mode.

1) I am fine if they can pull it off nicely like what they did in OOE. I will definitely say NO if it is just some over dramatic shounen manga scene.
