I'm excited as an Xbox One owner for Bloodstained for Crossplay between PC versions and Xbox. Bloodstained was one of the first games announced to use Crossplay as you can see in this video. Back then I really didn't understand how amazing of an announcement it was because I didn't know exactly what Crossplay meant, but recently I played the Sea of Thieves Beta while I was on my Xbox with my PC friend. It was seamless in gameplay and voice chat. My PC is my preferred gaming experience, but it's 7 years old so it can't run the newest games at the graphics levels of my Xbox.
I know Xbox isn't leading the pack in consoles, and I'm not trying to ignite any conversation about what's better. I own a PS4 too. All I'm saying is that Crossplay between Windows and Xbox is a change in the gaming industry that is made to benefit the gamers more than the company, and I think it's great.
Imagine if Steam was an Xbox app. Let that sink in a bit.
OK, now imagine that's not necessary because I don't even need Steam to play Sea of Thieves. Less overhead and middle men. PC gaming doesn't have to be Steam exclusive anymore. This is a peek into the future, and Bloodstained was one of the first to get on board.
As a side note. For $10/month with Game Pass you can play ALL Xbox 360 and One exclusives plus over 100 other games with more added all the time. That includes Sea of Thieves which I just bought for $60. This is shaking up the industry in ways that benefit the gamers more than anyone else. For Xbox being at the back of the pack, I've never been more excited to have my Xbox.

What pushed you into owning a PS4? I remember recently oí said the only modern console you owned was an XB1 and that you jumped in late into it and didn't think about owning another one anytime soon.

I hope the switch version would be compatible with cross play too... I like my xbox one too but only if I want really good graphics... I really want an x1x lol I hope bloodstained will look awesome on that console... I will have to buy it without the backer extras though  |

What pushed you into owning a PS4? I remember recently oí said the only modern console you owned was an XB1 and that you jumped in late into it and didn't think about owning another one anytime soon. It's my wife's PS4. She got a good deal on the last Black Friday sale so we now have one. She is playing Horizon Zero Dawn and will not let me touch the console until shes done with it, haha. I want to play Bloodborne! Of course that means I'll have to buy it, and it's not in the cards at the moment, as I just pre-ordered Sea of Thieves. Also, we are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary starting this weekend and have borrowed a little money from the bank to go to Universal Studios. My wife is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, so I'll soon be spending $40 on a plastic wand that does techno-magic (she might make me get one too) as well as all the other expensive things that comes along with such a vacation. |

but no seriously I'd love to see Xbox owners rise up and celebrate this. After all a lot of people played SotN on 360 for the first time, I imagine a lot of those guys chose Xbox One for Bloodstained or will when the time comes.

Cool! In case you also never owned a PS3 then get your hands on a copy of The Last of Us Remastered on PS4. The best game of the last generation and still better than 95% of games out there in 2018. |
