...but has the team said if the game will be released on time this year? I understand that IGA-sama has a very high standard of quality and respect that, but I am curious as to where we are on the development.

Yes. The 505 games (in the voice of Angel-Corlux) said that the window for release is 2018. There is no day or month yet, but it will be in 2018. People asked on Official Bloodstained Facebook page too and the staff confirmed that it will definitely be out in 2018, unless something really unexpected happens. Considering there is no release campaign yet, it can be anything from some months way to the end of the year. |

Pure Miriam Thank you, this is correct. The exact release date for the game hasn't been revealed, but we have confirmed 2018 as the year we release for a while now.

Someone should tell Google. For some reason when you search "Bloodstained release date" it says March 2018 in big bold letters. I know that's wrong, and I do worry it's going to misinform people who will be upset when March comes and goes without the release. "Oh no delays, guess it's another Mighty no. 9!" Gosh I hate when I hear stuff like that.
(Hmm... it seems Google actually does have a way to tell them the information is wrong, with the little "Send Feedback" link. I don't know how many reports it takes for them to actually make the change, but I'd recommend reporting the information as an error.)

Yeah and it's been that way for a while now, I've mentioned it a few times here and there. I think it pulled that information from the Wikipedia page that used to say that (but doesn't now) and just hasn't updated itself. There's still a lot of "I read March 2018 somewhere" on the internet and that's not helping lol. so yeah everybody go tell Google with the feedback report thing "hey google, you are wrong". And thanks lovelydumpling , I didn't know that feature was there |
