Holly vampires! I wanted for years a Soul Calibur on PC! Good thing i am saving much money lately; i am gonna need it!

I don't remember which one i played, but it was on arcades, lots of years back... Can't wait to hack and slash with that black knight!

I have several things to say about the characters in this new trailer.



GRØH ~The Agent In Black~

 - Anyone else notice the "ø" letter in his name?  It's mainly used in Danish, Faroese, Norwegian, and other Northern Germanic/Scandinavian languages.  Does that mean our dear "agent in black" is the first Norse character in the Soul series?

 - [RUMOR] He was stated by some people "based on reliable sources" that Grøh is a member of the same organization as Tira formerly was; the "Bird of Passage".  Whether that means Tira herself will also be in this game's roster is anyone's guess.

 - In the newest trailer, he also says "Extermination complete. Proceeding to the next mission." ~ I'd guess this at least confirms he's working for someone or a group.

 - I'm guessing he's also malfested, due to this.

 - One of his screenshots vaguely reminds me of Raiden from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

NIGHTMARE

 - As with Sophitia and [less evidently] Mitsurugi, his 1P costume is an update of his SC1 appearance.

 - It is not yet known, though easily predicted, that this Nightmare is once again none other than Siegfried possessed by Soul Edge (considering the basis of SC6's story).

 - It looks to me like Nightmare's combos have been greatly improved.  In the trailer, he's shown doing a 5-hit combo in rapid succession. (...He's always been surprisingly fast for a guy swinging around a two-handed sword)

 - Anyone else immediately notice that his idle-stance shows him holding Soul Edge with just one hand? (Rather than how ol' Siegfried used to hold it, his idle stance is that of SC3-SC5's new Nightmare)

 - His newest "Super" involves him summoning a literal Night Mare (phantom horse) from Norse mythology.  ("Soul Edge!  BE UNLEASHED!!!" *Horse materializes*  "Taste... the Sword of Despair!!")

XIANGHUA

 - She seems to have changed from her original upbeat childish personality to a much more determined heroine (and I don't think she ever asked her deceased mother to watch over her mid-combat).  She was the heroine of SC1 who defeated Inferno with Soul Calibur, after all.  The same will probably hold true in this game.

 - All the same, I can't help but wonder if she'll get to wield Soul Calibur again.  I'm not sure the sword she uses in the trailer is the Krita-Yuga.

 - I notice that she isn't wearing pants.  Is her new outfit a mandarin dress (also known as a "cheongsam")?

KILIK

 - Nothing special until near the end of the video, wherein he appears possessed by the Evil Seed.  Scuttlest   I imagine this "Evil Kilik" is either an indication of the newly-diverging storyline, or it's just a "what-if" Super attack that he has in his revamped moveset where he briefly goes berserk.

 - BOTH Kilik and Kali-Yuga were infected with the Evil Seed in the original storyline.  They just might use that to turn Kilik into a new villain for SC6.

 - [RUMOR] It was said that Grøh is supposedly his "rival".  IF this is true, that's a "Destined Battle" already confirmed.

Scuttlest I'm oddly getting Phantom Ganon OoT flashbacks.

Yeah it's cool, reminded me of Odin summons lol.

Not sure how I feel about Necalli Kilik myself heh
