In particular, I've got a pair of sai that I want to have crossed (tips up) on the wall.
Anybody have ideas or experience with this sort of thing? Most wall mounts seem to be made for swords. I can probably some up with some sort of simple bracketing system, but I wanted to see if there were easier solutions (also, I do want the 'blades' to cross, so there has to be some amount of offset for one of them).
Weird question, I know, but ideas welcome.

the quick and dirty way id do something like that would be have hooks to straddle the handle and hold the crossguards and then where the sai cross have a loop that can accomodate both spikes plus a little so if you wanted to easily remove them you just push them a little further up to get them off the hooks and then pull them free similar to that but a loop instead of that peg at the bottom so they can be flipped
