Yeah Vepar and Bloodless are great bosses so far. I like them already more than the standard CV bosses I can think of right now lol.
One thing I'll give 3D, it can give a more lasting impression of a monster's presence much moreso than pixel art. The atmosphere and feeling to convey is much more palpable in the moment, not to mention how the camera can be used in the introduction or for the attacks and sequence changes.
especially in the case of sequence changes. Doing all that s/he does in 2D would either A) be prohibitively too much work or B) just not look as seamless, all the while adding to the presentation of the moment.
