I do remember reading about this cathedral in Art History class, would love the chance to see it someday.
I love your story and I'm glad you, your sister, and Mr. Igarashi had a great time!
Whenever you guys give New Orleans a shot for site seeing, definitely let me know. ^_^

Mana I love everything about this post lol. I need to give NY another chance when I go. I didn't see/do anything like this when I went, just went to South Brooklyn for a fighting game event. It was still winter too, so...all I saw was dirty snow and trash lol. Everybody needs to Google image search St. Patrick's cathedral... upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/eb/St._Patrick%27s_Cathedral_%28New_York%29_1.jpgPIZZA! "New York style" pizza was already a food item in SotN, so he must have already knew of its importance at least. The NY pizza I had was just okay, though. Need to know what to get for next time  I'm just glad you guys are still giving IGA new things. That's a big dose of true Italian up there, and from what Angel said they really took care of you guys. Really cool about the coffee/sake bar and that Japanese community, too. Your sister is a talented artist too, I hope she's doing well. Having her tell IGA that she played Harmony of Dissonance a lot probably meant a good bit to him - Mana and probably most of y'all know this, but HoD was his first attempt after Symphony to make another game like SotN under much different circumstances and new limitations, and not everybody liked it. Bloodstained is kind of in a similar position. Besides the not liking part, of course lol Thank you for sharing all of that.

Can we get some screenshots or video footage of the improved lighting (even though it is minor) in the E3 2017 demo used at NYCC? I want to see what it looks like.

I have noticed a lot of differences, but making a screen by screen comparison takes time and effort, I believe the guys there would agree. I will make comparisons once I can try it however. |

I LOVE STORY TIME! Aside from the seizure incident (I'm so glad he was alright <3), I had a big stupid grin on my face reading all of this. It sounds like you guys had a real busy, yet enjoyable blast! So great to see all of these pictures too, everybody being such dags, that UNSC Spartan and the Contra soldiers, I wish I could have gone!! This is as close as I'll get though, so thank you for sharing the experience, Angel-Corlux! ^_^ And Mana too!! It sounds like you had quite an adventure running around NY with Iga and your sis. That cathedral is so beautiful!! Who could blame Iga for going into nerd mode XD Such wonderful times to read about, I'm glad everybody is safe and well and that everything at NYCC was a success! |

The Con looked amazing. Wish I could have been there. I have two questions though: 1. If the print was being signed, does that mean it's official that Mana will be doing the additional marketing art? 2. Is there any way to get a copy as I couldn't be at the convention? (I understand that signing is for goers only, but I'd LOVE to get a copy of the print!)  Thanks and hope you had an otherwise pleasant time! |

Hey guys, I came across a story somewhere else and thought I would share here. I asked the author's permission and he said I could feel free ;p ...please read! The fan met Iga at the First 4 Figures booth, where the new Alucard statue was displayed - this was from their FB group.  Just thought I'd share with you guys. See, recently, I started to feel like I had hit a low point. The particulars of which, I won't get into today. But I felt like starting fresh, getting over what's been eating me. Even cut off all of my hair as a figurative kind of "restart". That aside, I had been a member of the club for a while. I never posted or commented though. I just liked what I saw here. But I love the work First 4 Figures does, and I have a couple of their pieces in my collection. I made it to NYCC for the first time this year, when I made it to their booth, and I met Tsoek and Alex. I had a great time, and we spoke at length about some of the statues, the collector's club. A lot of things, really. Imagine my surprise when I was observing the Alucard statue and heard "Koji San! Welcome!" Only to turn around and meet Koji Igarashi (Worked on the Castlevania series, including Symphony Of The Night, for those who don't know 👌). They spoke to him while I was starstruck, seeing someone who was responsible for some of my favorite games growing up. I had even been to try the demo for his new project, Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night, but I missed him at all of his signings. After the guys spoke with him, they allowed me to take a picture with him, and he even handed me a whip to pose with (I geeked out). At the time, I didn't want to use this as my submission for the statue giveaway, because I felt that'd be cheap. But to tie together all of my ramblings, something changed after NYCC. I've been feeling up, my hair already grew back (lol), and I can now confidently thank Alex, Tsoek, and the First 4 Figures crew for giving me one of the best moments of recent memory in my life. I love you guys lol, thank you so much! It reminds me of my own life turnaround moments in 2008 with OoE and this Kickstarter in 2015...and others, with playing CV since my memory started. Glass raised!  |
