Every day in the world of Refactor thousands of puzzle pieces are created for the explicit purpose of playing “The Game”. Requiring perfection, only perfect puzzle pieces are selected for use and those who are imperfect are shunned by society and decommissioned. Thrown into this hostile environment, it is up to a couple of misfits to find their place in this unbending society.

Refactor is a physics-based platformer taking elements from classic Metroidvanias. Placed in a world that is a puzzle itself, you can literally turn the world upside down by rearranging the map and building your own pathways through the game. Uncover secrets, acquire new abilities and upgrades, and discover where you fit in the world.

This game looks pretty interesting.
I don't think the trailer is clear enough on how the gameplay is like, but I can get a basic idea out of it.

That said, I would love to play it, although I do not have a PS4, this seems like something I would most certainly enjoy it.
The only thing I don't like is the brown, rusty factory scenery that looks a bit boring and even a little generic. But maybe it's not just my preferred type of visual.

It's always nice to see a different type of game out there.

With luck, there might be a demo on steam at least.

And it seems to be more a platformer, and then you enter som kind of mode to puzzle the pieces to progress.

And yeah, the rusty factory are pretty boring, but with good control and mechanics, these things can be overlooked. It really comes down to if it is fun or not.
