I think the reason for Red Ash isn´t doing well is that many people lost their faith in Inafune.. Sure Mighty No9 is megamanlike and its spiritual successor but it has not even a charged shot-.- thats like an Igavania without demons.. I have some hopes for the Ray DLC but when legends like Inafune or Iga doing spiritual successors, we "oldschool gamers" hope for something what´s made for having fun at gaming and let us remember the good old days while playing, before the rankings and virtual penis comparison came-.- Sure the younger ones can´t live without that, but for us that highspeed ranker is no Megaman anymore and that´s the reason why people like me not backing Inafune again.
Another reason for Red Ash is doing so low may be that everyone thirst for fantasy games but only a very low percentage is into the military/endtime genre.

Arcueid BrunestudAs far as people would like to defend Red Ash and Inafune, the damage is already there It will be really hard to heal as long as people misunderstand about the project, might not even heal at all So maybe I preferred them to stop the campaign for a while. Use the momentum from Mighty No. 9 to boost this project Might seem pretty underhanded to some people, but it maybe can save this project And there will be people that will not read the full information at all

That's one big, apologetic wall of text with some seriously twisted rationalizations.
Inafune has plenty proving to do, especially in the creative department. His first KS used borrowed gameplay and character design, seeing how he wasn't involved in the game design of the original MM entries and Mega wasn't designed by him. Also, claiming that the same reasoning for backing MN9 is there for RA is idiotic. Getting his first KS supported wasn't a sound investment by the people that judged him by his previous accomplishments, it was a show of faith and love from the fans. You can't expect unending amounts of unconditional support from your fans.

Is there a reason why Call is grey skinnend. Also the whole kickstarter from the start was managed badly, the whole thing felt like a anime show, nothing abouth the actual game itself. Also having a anime kickstarter at the same time is realy overdoing it, maybe wait till the game is a succes before making a anime out of it?
And to be honest I dont feel to keen in putting money to inafune since he is going around the world making expensive trips promoting his games (wich he didnt make since its a whole team beside him thats actualy making it, but hey in the end he can put his name on the box making evryone believe he actualy programend, coded it etc..)

6 days to go, more than 40% needed to hit the stretch goal.
With the best they have to offer being a handful of models, it's pretty safe to say that the KS is a complete failure. Can't say I'm not interested in how the aftermath will be handled.

They're isn't a single redeeming factor about it, It's not even in the engine they want to use. They would have been better off not showing anything at all. This campaign needs to fail and they need to re-evaluate their approach before trying again.

U unfortunately it's not relevant or indicative of the game they are trying to pitch. It's an obviously rushed and I'll conceived attempt to demonstrate their ability. But what it boils down to is nothing more than a bad college students unity midterm. I realize people want a new mega man legends. But floaty, can kicking, non textured tight hallway running, juvenile dialogue spouting, bad physics balloon man pushing "gameplay" is certainly not what I consider proof of concept. It's disappointing.

It's a prototype they put together in 2 weeks. It's not supposed to represent what the final product will look like, but what the spirit of the game will be like, and that is a Mega Man Legends spiritual sequel.
