"A HUGE print uncovering the secrets of the castle's interior!" and is being a part of the $500 tier, which I know some of you guys have pre-ordered (no names mentioned).  When I first read about it, I felt it could be on a fake leather, massive in size. So big you could use it as a poncho or a blanket. Then I was thinking about all those posters you can buy on eBay, expensive ones for an A4 or A3 sized thin glossy paper "only" (A3 297 x 420 mm - 11.7 x 16.5 in / A4 210 x 297 mm - 8.3 x 11.7 in). 1. I am curious, what would you expect about the MAP if you bought this tier (or have bought it?)
2. For this amount of funding for a game you would enjoy, how much would you treasure that MAP?
3. And if you had the MAP in your hands while playing the game, would you peek or put it back?
4. Where would you put the MAP? Maybe hang it on the wall?Thanks. |

Ooh, I like this topic because I have bought that map and don't really get a chance to talk about it.
1. Would like it to at least have markers for saves, teleportation, shops and secret areas but bonuses would be a bestiary on the back with locations marked on map (it is huge after all lol) possibly if there's farming spots for crafting materials those as well. Maybe even a wicked full color drawing of the area with map squares over it would be amazing but I'd be happy if it looked just like the mock up.
2. I would probably treasure it like I had a piece of history. Mostly because in my mind it is.
3. I'm not opening the map until after my first playthrough.
4. If not framed, it's getting tucked away somewhere very safe. Unless my iga detector goes off, then I'm hunting for another signature.

1. I am curious, what would you expect about the MAP if you bought this tier (or have bought it?)
I have bought this tier, and what I expect is that this is a rough MAP of Gebel's Castle that gives away the locations of all Secret Rooms, but not spoil the secrets themselves contained within. It will reveal nothing else (not even Save Rooms).
2. For this amount of funding for a game you would enjoy, how much would you treasure that MAP?
Very much, though I would try not to use it very often because I prefer to figure things out by myself.

Oh, I'll peek at it alright, but only when I REALLY want to achieve 100% map-completion (or whatever weird percentage will be the maximum).
4. Where would you put the MAP? Maybe hang it on the wall?
For safe-keeping, I'd put it inside my Collector's Box.

Why can't they make the map as a jigsaw puzzle? That way, if you really want to find the secret rooms, you'll have to fix the puzzle first  |
