I have noticed inside the Church area, early concept screenshots from IGN have blue "neon" lights in the background. In the E3 2017 Demo it had changed, is this because of the rule of having dark background and lighter forgrounds? If this is the case, will similar light be elsewhere, I found it to be awesome, if implemented right. Screenshot for comparison: i.imgur.com/r8YThQj.jpg A lot of these things are probably better Curry/IGA/Mana questions, but...I really like how that looked before, myself. The light is brilliant. I used one of those IGN pics as a wallpaper/cover photo for a while.
Similarly, there's that area that was used to showcase the last shader vote (it looked a bit like an "entrance" area, but we haven't seen it since): i.imgur.com/Pfdx797.png
Is that still around, as well? Really liked the colors, especially in the background.
Miriam is also lighter here, she looks more like her art. Lately, her in-game model has been not as bright. It looks more like a 3D model now, actually, and nowadays the protruding rose on her back that gave off the aura in the 2016 demo has been taken away. Can you give any insight on these changes?:
I have to say I like the brighter Miriam from the original shader voting. I guess they changed it to make the background/foreground more cohesive, but it just doesn't have the same impact it did before. I've tweeted most of what I'm saying here to #AskCurry.

Some things I may just not know, others I may not be the best person to talk about them, or even it may not be the right time to talk about them. But I still encourage everyone to ask whatever questions they like, I'll always be frank and honest about what I can and can't/shouldn't answer. Welcome Angel-Corlux ! You know you guys reverse-opened Pandora Box with Bloodstained right? I said that because the hope was the first thing that come out. The hope that this game will be a hit. Welcome aboard. Hi Pure Miriam! Man I absolutely LOVE the art of Pure Miriam, it's sooo good! Haha if we had to compare Bloodstained to Pandora's Box, then I'd say we've let out and chased away all the evils and left only the good things in the box like hope, dedication, passion and kick*** graphics, music, gameplay and story. This isn't a serious post, just me having sadistic fun making you work your job a little. But anyways.... I thought pandora's box had only one non-evil thing, that being hope. Given you mentioned it first, I imagine your know this though since you mentioned that first. That, and you left out the fanbase, you basically mentioned all the things important to a game but the fanbase? well fine *looks away) =P. Don't worry, we won't let those escape And don't you worry about "hoping" if it's gonna be a hit...it will be... no matter what. I haven't been following BS progress for some time, not because of disinterest or lack of hope, but because I'm a big time gamer myself and frankly 2016 and 2017 are practically gaming golden age material. I can't bring myself to hype about something yet to come when I have yet to dedicate the number of hours required for justice for all the great games as of late (I'm a souls fan too and only just started dark souls 3 because fire fades edition just came out and I waited f for a goty edition after the stunt 2 pulled off with scholar!). Anyway, as such, I thought quicksilver was the publisher, or at least the folks investing in this game's success beyond the kickstarter. Perhaps this thread should explain these details? What Wii U features are being transferred over to the Switch version, will user's Mii's still appear in the Switch version as was planned for the Wii U version, are there plans for Nintendo inspired costumes and weapons. also Miriam amiibo when?

If you played symphony among other games, you may notice how characters often glide before they step or after turning. It's sorely missed for me in this game. Any plan on trying to add it?

Questions : if already written down ignore.
1. Are there shields in this game in the vein of SOTN? 2. Is there full costumes you can find and change into in game like the pure Miriam one? ( like cloaks but for the whole body ) 3. Do weapons have specials with button input codes? 4. Are there special spells that require button inputs?
( I know we know about button input codes but I don't think they ever verified the KIND of things they're used for) 5. In terms of the alpha, how much will the alpha be showing off of the game? 6. Why no skeletons? Mortes feel more like a zombie replacement. Can I be reassured there's a common enemy type that cracks and breaks under my weapons with the satisfaction that skeletons had? ( I will miss those buggers) 7. How many areas are they aiming to include in the game and any idea how much bigger each area is compared to previous games? 8. Are transformations in the game? 9. Will familiars/summons remain blue and crystallized looking? Not a fan of that look. 10. Will the familiars have more personality like they did in SOTN?
