Hey everybody.
I have some questions about having multiple PS4 consoles that I need answering. I've done some Google-Fu, but I'm still unclear on how this works.
Here goes.
I've had an original PS4 for years now. Yesterday, I bought a PS4 Pro. We have four users in our house (all with PSN accounts). My PSN account (flsomerv) is the main account. I make all of our purchases on it. It is also the only account that has a PS+ subscription. I want to be able to play Dark Souls 3 online on the PS4 with one PSN account (not the main, doesn't have PS+) and play Dark Souls 3 online on the PS4 Pro with a different PSN account (not the main, doesn't have PS+). Can I do that without (1) having to purchase the game again, and (2) without having to purchase a separate PS+ subscription?
If I have to, I'll break down and buy another PS+ subscription and another copy of DS3, but I'd rather save a bit of $$ if I can just share the game on both the PS4 and the PS4 Pro consoles. It's fine to shell out the extra $$ for a game or two, but will I have to purchase two copies of every game I want to play online multiplayer with? That could add up quick.
