Original link here: apptrigger.com/2017/06/19/bloodstained-creator-koji-igarashi-talks-kickstarter-staggered-content/There are some VERY INTERESTING information at this interview, that i highlighted below: 1) IGA said that they started the port to VITA. That means the game must be complete or at least close to that. Normally, developers don't start porting if the game is not almost complete or have at least the majority of ti's assets ready. 2) IGA says that the game tries to capture most of the feel of his old games, although some elements are different. But he also says that the game has ONE element that might surprise the fans but he can't talk about it because they didn't announced yet. 3) IGA says that they still didn't decided if the game will be released as a staggered content (main game first, extra modes later), or if they will release everything in a single pack. 4) IGA says there is just one emotion he expects from anyone playing the game for the first time: fun.

Oops, I read this when it was new, figures everyone else had too, it's hard to link articles because it it so spread out on this forums. Perhaps the IGAverse could get 1 thread and in it we just put all the interviews?
1. The VITA port should be about the core system, not the general idea of how much are in it. Also, if there is a core code behind all subjects within the game: "Miriam, attack, enemy, fog, ui, items, weapons, systems", then they can fix that until the whole layout is finished. If the code for every enemy already is made up, now they just need to animate them, then there you go! Once the core code is done, the VITA team can focus on the task. The good news about this is that since Wii U was cancelled, the team now can put more effort and energy upon VITA. Switch is less of an issue since it already support the Unreal Engine. That is how I see things. Also, the team behind the port are pretty impressive.
2. I am curious about the element he mentioned, but if it is part of an announcement, this could be nice as an update.
3. If its possible on all platforms, staggered is not a bad idea, the main game is what the effort and heart are put into. Once that is done, the adventure starts for us. All the rest of the modes can come at a later date, perhaps it will make the game have a longer hype. But then again, I know IGA isn't fond of staggered and want to give everyone everything the moment it is done, but I believe they will patch it even afterwards anyway due to bugs and glitches, which I really hope Romscout can take part of in helping them find and crush.
4. Fun. The beta gave me that feel. And the feel of "I want more".

On some obscene Italian sites which have clickbaiting as a primary source of income, this is being dealt with as if the game is going to be released in episodes, a là Life is Strange. Marvelous how poorly informed some so-called "information" sites about videogames can be.
