Famous games had their imitators and this game really is one I would have wished to try.
Back then Valis-like platformers really were fascinating, CV and Megaman ones, too.

The PC-98 overall was full of insanely fascinating games. Like the MSX however, it rarely left japan so we're stuck with not knowing much about it, let alone ever owning or trying one besides the ocassional port (Snatcher for the Sega CD being the most famous).
