is it just me, or are all pachinko advertisements the same?
- add one big nasty monster/scenery with miasma
- shimmering hero
- attractive female side character
- quick shots of the "minibosses"

Actually, they're doing very retro, trying to apply slightly different elements to the very same formula, to the point it makes even the most staunch fan tired of it. (Megaman anyone?*)
What a waste of character redesign and music remixing... But if it works for them, they won't stop doing it.
Which game of the series is going to follow that treatment next?

*I was a HUGE Megaman fan back in the day. But given what they eventually did to classic Megaman and Megaman X (Megaman Zero, Megaman Battle Network and so on... ended the same), it bored me to the point of no-return.

Has anyone noticed the single only reoccurring character in both the Castlevania pachinkos and pachislot games is the succubus?
It seems fitting that the mascot of these parasitic games would be a demon that drains the life of its victims.

Yes and no, imo. For the US slot machine audience, like the one that calls Hector "Simon" and Dracula "Hector", using Curse of Darkness FMV, where the guy demo'ing it says it's "just like the NES games you remember"...yeah, a lot of the people they're targeting won't know what the heck they're looking at.
The JP Pachislot market, on the other hand, would be quite a bit more savvy and lured in from the heavy pandering/fanservice-y side of things, like with our favorite Erotic Violence machine. Looking at two different categories of things here - slot machine and Japanese pachi.
The LoS one is somewhere in the middle, to me, and I imagine a certain amount of Japanese fans do/did like the LoS retelling. Western things do have kind of an inherent exotic appeal anyway, so maybe they can mash Gabriel up with some succubi, rearrange some pre-made assets and bright lights and make some cash. np GG EZ

...Well..the music sounds good, if nothing else. Honestly, the music has never been a problem. The scores for the three pachislot titles released from 2008 to 2012 all had excellent music (the bulk being ripped bodily from previous games). |

While Bloodstained isn't Castlevania, it's still consistent with what Castlevania was. This is where Konami fucked up I believe. |

Anyone else find it funny that their pachislot character models seem more detailed than like any game ever. Regardless, game sucks because it isn't subtitled EROTIC VIOLENCE 2.
