RE2 Remake has been fun, finally trying to complete Fallout 4 for completions sake......after over 300hrs of just whatever on it (mostly bug fixing) Galamoth as per your mention of Skyrim from last year, wonder if you caught wind of that co-op mod for it? May give reason to dust off the old game once again for some jolly co-operation. \[+]/

Cernex Ah, Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride... I still haven't beaten that game myself. That makes two of us, Galamoth, lol. Maybe I'll try again in a couple of days when I have some free time? But man, work can be heck sometimes.

Still at the RE2 remake 100%ing it......got a few of the hardest achievements and now just taking my time with the rest. Playing a bit of 7days to die, MIST survival, Rodina (all early access on Steam) and soon to be playing Sekiro, if it'd launch already.

Got Toejam & Earl: Back to the Groove (aka, "the soft reboot after no one liked the one for the Xbox") and HOLY SMOKES its everything I wanted and more. Have had a blast playing it over and over again... and I'm still playing it! Sadly, this means DQ5 will have to wait, still.

Quick Update:Still playing Etrian Odyssey Nexus and have just now opened up the path to the 4th labyrinth. My party makeup changed up a bit here haha (apologies for the dusty 3DS) : Hero --- Ronin --- PugilistHarbinger --- SovereignMy key players here are the Hero (named Yuusha) and Sovereign (Tamane). Hero has everything overall plus the ability to heal the party as a side effect of certain attacks. Oh, and has great attack power. Sovereign is my quasi-Medic with outstanding buffs with, similar to the Hero, the cool side effect of line or party healing. With them both in my team and making sure to keep a constant supply of Nectars along with the usual Ariadne Threads, there really is no need for a full time Medic. Ronin (Shizuka) really helps with the overall dps and has contributed well in taking down the 3rd labyrinth boss. Pug (Ryoko) has been my dependable head/arm/leg binder while my Harbinger (Noa) is solely a de-buffer while at the back row. Plus I really enjoyed them in EO5 and was glad to see them back in Nexus. Looking forward to sub-classing whenever this feature becomes available as I continue my playthrough. Once sub-classing opens up while still having the same party, the following is pretty much guaranteed how I'll set my party up initially (with my current Sovereign getting the Medic sub, but I'll then also register another Sovereign in my guild but with Zodiac sub and do some party experimentation further): Hero / Imperial sub --- Ronin / Gunner(?) sub --- Pugilist / Arcanist subHarbinger / Nightseeker sub --- Sovereign / Medic sub OR Sovereign / Zodiac subAnd it turns out my choice for Heroic difficulty has not been a bad one. While never a cakewalk, I still enjoy the game and welcome the strategizing needed to win virtually every fight, from normal encounters to boss fights to FOEs.
Bring it on!!!

I've played quite a few games since my last post in Nov (I've beaten/finished about 8 - 9 games), but at the moment I'm currently participating in this weekend's Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta/Online Stress Test which I'm so far "enjoying" (aka raging at the guy on the other end ) even though it only has 3 playable characters (Baraka, Scorpion, & Skarlet), below are just a few of the matches I've played during the beta. Skarlet (me) vs. Baraka Scorpion (me) vs. Skarlet Scorpion (Me) vs. Baraka Scorpion (me) vs. Scorpion (no hood)

Finally bought Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana recently. I'll follow in Motoko 's footsteps and start playing it real soon. (Edit): In the meantime, I'm replaying Chrono Trigger DS.

I finally played and beat Harmony of Dissonance. In my last Castlevania marathon, I had completely forgotten that it existed. I was practically boasting that I had finished all of the Igavanias that weren't weird/"experimental" PS2 games when I realized I was missing one. I think I skipped it all those years back because I heard some of the music in that game and physically gagged.
Played it, beat it, and already forgot about it. I will say the movement is an improvement over Circle of the Moon. I didn't have to double tap a direction awkwardly to start running...however the fact that it depends on what direction you are facing with which button you press(L and R) was weird and took a bit to get used to. After that, it was second nature and I found myself dashing most of the time. I like the fact that the second castle ISN'T inverted...but getting to it is cumbersome. The game is almost as easy as Aria of Sorrow with quite a few bosses being flat out pathetic. The music didn't make me completely gag this time, there were two tracks that were tolerable to listen to. I think there might be even less story in this game than Circle and Symphony, which is interesting since Death is pretty prominent in this game. The back tracking in this game was a little obnoxious. Not being able to pick where I teleport to in mid-game to late game just made getting to places more tedious than necessary. This was a problem that was fixed with later entries, so I'm not going to harp anymore than necessary.
That's about it, I'm struggling to talk about things with that game. It's fine, I guess. It's my second least favorite 2D game that Iga has done. I can say that I'm more than prepared for Bloodstained now. I feel like a veteran of the series now.

I am passing time with Persona Q. After finishing first dungeon, I had to replay complete P3(Fes) first, cause until then I had played only 5 and 4 (ironically does 4 spoiler a lot in 5) and when the complete P3 cast was introduced, I became completely overwhelmed by it. Oh and now and then I am playing Gems of War on Switch. Should anyone here play it and need to join a guild, then join the Sylverbear guild!

I've pretty much finished the Castlevania Anniversary Collection (all that's left is 1 trophy, which is beat Castlevania Bloodlines with John Morris), finished Dracula X for the first time the other day (I've even started a second playthrough which I'm almost done with), I replayed/beat Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon (I recently got my physical PS4 copy of the Classic Edition from LRG) once though I may hop back into it to get the "true" ending as well as do a Zengetzu only run, played some MLB the Show 19, and recently started playing Guacmelee 2 on Steam/PC.

Quick Update #2Have been taking time for other things, but I am still playing Etrian Odyssey Nexus. I feel I should first explain a few things just in case to clarify my gameplay so far: - So far I have not beaten the main scenario.
- Never used either the experience-gaining or the money-gaining DLC items.
- Over 120 hours of gameplay so far.
- All side quests have been completed so far
I'm for sure more than halfway through the main scenario, so I will most likely stick with this rule set until the end of the main game. So I have defeated the 12th labyrinth boss and the corresponding maze's boss that opened up when labyrinth 12 did as well. Man. they were tough! My current party makeup is below: So at first it looks like I have the same party as before but with higher levels and a change in hair color. They now pretty much have locked subclasses and with one class change which is totally not obvious from the pic. Hero / Imperial --- Ronin / Nightseeker --- Pugilist / NinjaArcanist / Harbinger --- Sovereign / ZodiacThe way the above reads for each pair is: (Main class) / (Sub class) Yuusha, the Hero / Imperial, has the ability to wield drive blades from her Imp subclass and as a result has twice the amount of attacks in her arsenal. When her Regiment Rave with Shizuka's Swallow Strike turn ends, Yuusha can dish out just as much damage with Accel Drive. Shizuka, the Ronin / Nightseeker, gained the awesome ability to inflict extra damage to enemies with ailments! Stacked together with her Upper Stance mode! The random chance that Ailment Spread is proc'd is nice as well. Ryoko, the Pugilist / Ninja, expanded her move set with a few good AoE ailment attacks that sways her a bit to the side as an ailment setup for Shizuka when she's not applying binds as her priority function in an encounter. I really wish she had the damage potential from EO V here in this game. Noa, the Arcanist / Harbinger, was for a long while a Harbinger / Arcanist!!! She is now a far more useful debuffer and slightly better ailment giver as a fully-fledged Arcanist with Harb sub, and I wanted to keep her Harb profile pic! Out of all her spells, Atrophic Eye is the most cast spell. Tamane, the Sovereign / Zodiac, has Etheric Gleam to add to her already wonderful set of party buffs, including the most-used Attack Order. Plus she has some offensive magic at her disposal and Prophecy spells, which, I've heard, will be a big deal in or around late game. Forward and onward to my mission to complete this game (and the post game) Heroic-ly!

Right now... I'm getting my ass handed to me on Mega Man 11's " Superhero" difficulty, though I've managed to beat 3 of the bosses so far. Gonna take some time to get used to the faster boss-patterns. Especially the Yellow Devil; a true nightmare. But at least there's this guy's video of him showing off mad skills.
