What's everyone currently playing?

Hmm.. well, I'd guess that the reviews are for the Wii U version? Most reviews for the Wii version I've seen have been generally positive. It can be found as a pack-in game currently available on the Wii U package.

With that said, I am having fun with Rodea Wii.  Seems that the main story is broken up into lots of chapters, nicely bite-sized so that one can pick up and play without saving in the middle of a mission or similarly.

The Wii version has been known as the intended version as envisioned by the creator Yuji Naka of NiGHTS and other Sega titles, including some old-school Sonic games. It also uses the Wiimote as the input device, not Wiimote + nunchaku or any other. I'd say go give the Wii version a try if you respect Naka's past work, like flying, and don't mind some Wiimote sensor controls though not on the level of Skyward Sword. Haven't played the Wii U version though, to be fair.


...Oh I also forgot to mention I'm also playing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (Sora no Kiseki FC) on the PSP! I need to then catch up with SC too before eventually starting Cold Steel 1 !!!

Finally got the Towerfall Ascension dlc so I am playing that. Finished two of the four on legendary already, shouldn't be too hard to do the rest.
Zombiebuni and I are playing Fat Princess Adventures too. I was skeptical at first due to the change in graphics and design but it was all for the best, really fun game.

Im totally binging on trails of cold steel and am loving it.

I had a case of the "ooh shiny shiny's" for a good chunk of Decemeber so I didn't play much of the games I had started since my last post, though I did finish 3 games (Transformers Devastation, Theatrhythem: Curtain Call, and Mario Golf: World Tour) before Christmas. On Christmas I ended up getting a bunch of games as gifts (Xenoblade Chonicles X, AC Syndicate, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Star Wars Battlefront, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3, and Alien Isolation) so I've been slowly playing through those games (I've got 45% of AC Syndicate done and it's by far my favorite AC game in a while, I've completed 30% if Order of Ecclesia, got to chapter 5 in Alien Isolation, played about 2 hrs of both Star Wars Battlefront & Xenoblade Chronicles X, and haven't touched Dead Rising 3 or Sunset Overdrive) since.

Decided to pause my playthrough of Dark Souls 1 (because the amount of bulls*bleeep* in later game areas was starting to grate on my nerves) and rest from it. So I instead loaded one of better ways to blow some steam off, the newest release of Brutal Doom. Rip and Tear!

If you go in any chalice dungeon that has a shop you can buy the alternate version of ALL dlc weapons. Incase you weren't aware.
Are you guys playing LBP1? (I assume so but most people I know just say LBP regardless of 1,2,or 3)

I just beat Tomb Raider(2013). I know about the development hell these guys went through trying to create a reboot to this particular established franchise. I am NO fan of the original series for various reasons and this reboot was...alright. I can see the growing pains and the QTEs were tiresome after the first stage. It has a lot of promise, so I'm hoping Rise of the Tomb Raider fixed the issues people had with it. Then again, I'm hoping forced walking segments are gone too but after seeing the trailers they aren't. I really HATE forced walking segments in modern games.
While we're on the subject of names for sequels to this game. I'm thinking "Tomb Raiders", "Dawn of the Tomb Raider", "Tomb Raider: Resurrection"...

I picked up The Legend of Heroes(I don't like this title since it's kind of generic): Trails in the Sky(I'll be referring to it by subtitle from now on). Trails in the Sky won my heart by the intro. The writing and dialogue are pretty good. I can't wait to jump into it.

Silent Hill 2 has waited long enough though. I put it on hold due to holiday hectic and moving. The move should be completed by this weekend.

From what I've seen the fanbase seems to refer to it as TiTs Nice pick, heard a lot of good things about the game, definitely a title of my "to get one day" list.

Trails in the sky wowd my pants off as hard as xenogears did way back.

Best part is there are currently 3 games in the series ro enjoy in english.

And just wait for the end. It makes you want SC so bad.
