I've been playing Mega Man X for the first time. Super fun and frustrating! haha. As well as SSB4 and Hyrule Warriors. Really liking the Wii U so far, and I am excited for the future releases.

MMX for the first time? Wow.
Me, well...I'm planning on starting to record (or stream?) me playing a difficulty mod of SotN I got from insanedifficulty.com. It supposedly increases enemy HP/damage, takes some of the strongest weapons out of the game, etc. I really like the Final Fantasy Tactics project they did over there, so hopefully this works out well too.
Otherwise, a bunch of fighting games off and on and Bravely Default.

But I like the sense of challenge first so I go Storm Eagle first (even though he ain't hard). |

I know. I had played the original Megaman series, but when choosing between Super Metroid or MMX as a child, I decided to go with SM. I had used to think MMX was just the tenth game of the classic series, never thought it was a separate series until much more recently  I see why this series is so loved by the community though. Nice! Best of luck with the SOTN mod! I've been playing Mega Man X for the first time. Super fun and frustrating! haha. As well as SSB4 and Hyrule Warriors. But I like the sense of challenge first so I go Storm Eagle first (even though he ain't hard). At first playthrough I tried out Spark Mandrill, but that stage was a bit difficult for me. I did do Chill Penguin first after that, and then Sting Chameleon but he kept destroying me (I came very very close at one point though.. and this was without the armour upgrade since I didn't know about it). After that I just did the recommended order to witness the story. Playing it a second time I started off with Storm Eagle as well. Love that stage theme! |

Whoa, you're in for a treat. Man, I'd love to have a fresh, blind playthrough of MMX and countless other games. Yes I can replay them, but nothing will come close to the first time! I hope they can release the rest of the X games as a bundle soon. It'd be very nice to continue playing this series. The 1st game alone was done so well and is fun to replay to try out the stages in their different states.  Like the Mandrill stage with electricity on, or the Mammoth stage with the lava still flowing. I have been using the Wii U mostly for local multiplayer games, and the Virtual Console for Singleplayer games. Hoping to try out more Singleplayer Wii U games on it soon though! |
