Symphony of the Night turns 20

Yep. I always thought this was one part of the reasoning for Bloodstained's original release window. It's too bad we couldn't make that.

I am sure you'll sooner or later get the type of people going "why did you have to remind me of my age!" sooner or later.

...I am still so grateful CSOTN was created then.
This hybrid/mix of my favorite genres could only be a success if made right and that sure proved true, to the point Ko-ko * overused it, quite a little (euphemism).

I guess that without it, I surely wouldn't have met any of you good-hearted people.
So much has changed, Ko-ko used to be so wonderful back then. A videogames-filled youth that I now wish would have stayed for a little longer.

I never realized this kickstarter would have such positive unexpected results for me (joining the forums and discord).
I just hope I haven't stirred too much trouble in my more random moments.
May Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night succeed on every point possible and that this community remains strong even years after the game's gone gold!

Castlevania Symphony of the Night have that spark I really hope Bloodstained will have. 20 years since release makes me wonder if IGA have something planned for us in terms of information or memories he would like to share, not to be confused with the upcoming dev update on Bloodstained.

I am curious how well SOTN recieved around the world (not copies, but enjoyment).

I think it's been 2 to 3 years since I last played it... I'll probably boot it up again. I still need to beat a couple of old games.

I feel kind of sad thinking about that... I'm playing more old games than new.

If you really want to feel old, from a scientific point of view, everyone here is a continuation of the processes that started with the Big Bang. We're ancient waves.

I'm quite amazed at how well the original game aged. But I guess that speaks to competent design.

I was old, until those pesky kids resurrected be in the Tombs of Giza. Now I am room mate with a Werewolf that can't stop howling at night. It drives me crazy.

But yeah, I felt old once. Now I feel "experienced".

Happy late birthday. I'm 5 years older than this game. Yikes...
