I just watched the Gamespot interview with Reggie Fils-Aimé and he talked about "old IPs" and I was wondering if anyone as a hankering for some of those old IPs... this thread is not only for old Nintendo IPs but IPs that have been either been forgotten or are sorely underutilized.

I would suggest Star Tropics. But as old as I am now, I have come to peace that it is gone, forgotten and replaced by other under utilized or sterilized IP's.
Since I could mention many from NES era, most are lost in legal mumbo-jumbo. Which makes me fantasize for a universal console designed for preserving all past games (a library of sorts).

Dad played Star Tropics on nintendo. I found it to be entertaining to watch at least.
A game that I enjoyed and have had a hard time finding a replacement for was Devil Dice, also known as Bombastic. I played it on Playstation One like 3 times only.. ;(

Now let me put another one in the mix... I have put this one up before on one of my other threads but it is awesome... and deserves a new life especially now that we have VR and better motion controls. I know it says "history" but there is no audio and it just shows some launching some fights |

That would be entertaining.
It wouldn't be all that difficult to pull off a new incarnation of the game. Not with Uncharted and such present. Plenty of formulas to mix and match. Only issue would be narrative...
I almost tossed in Blaster Master, almost, if not for a new entry in the franchise a little over a month away.
Though two I will throw out there:
- Metal Storm
- Robo Warrior
