Just as he finishes that line, he trips over a bottle. Now on the floor, face down, he concludes that getting up is too much of an effort and instead opts to take a nap.
Meanwhile, the bottle he tripped over continues rolling down the ship, likely to cause an unfortunate chain of events that will result in some suffering for our favorite "cabinboy".
