Well he is the main character for an indie game I was creating, though I doubt i'll ever finish at this point... Probably for the best since he only got a 6/10 =P

That video is pretty out of date too, but yeah I started the project and my own indie studio when I was unemployed for a bit. Called in lots of favors from friends in the industry to get a working prototype and then tried to find some publishing support. It didn't work out and I couldn't afford to keep the project going. It's not technically dead, I just have a full time job and 6 month old at home so my time is a bit constricted.

The story went something like this: A lone engineer works tirelessly to maintain the automated droids who process debris scavenged by the scrap collecting space station Platform R. The scraps will eventually be sold to planets and ejected into their atmosphere to create beautiful planetary rings (the new status symbol for a wealthy planet on the rise)... Until one day something goes wrong. The droids suddenly become hostile and the engineer (named the Tinkerer) gets trapped in his workshop. With nothing but a pile of space junk he sets out to create a new robot to help him fix the space station, or at least escape in one piece.

So the game starts with you being brought to life by the tinkerer, who then acts as your narrator/guide as you platform around the space station fighting enemy bots, collecting upgrades and navigating puzzles.
