My personal wishlist, which will be updated due time with new posts. If these end up in the game or not, I really think the developers know what they are doing so even if none of these will ever see day of light, no sad face here.. I will change and add to the lists whenever I do a new post here. This is to gather all ideas, which is a common thing for me. Instead of spreading it across the forums and loose them. Please feel free to comment. Thank you. Familiars- They should have the feature to unlock one or two secret rooms each. Thought goes to the Imp, which pushed the switch in the abandoned mine - Symphony of the Night. This way they are more meaningful.
- I am unsure how many familiars we will see, but a color-scheme could be the way to go to double them after you have obtained an item - or - beat the game x amount of %. Instead of having 6 familiars, have 3 - with each 2 or 3 different color schemes. Just variety.
Enemies- Small enemies that after death, leave a mark on the wall. Ash, brimstone, blood. In a long corridor, this feature could be a fun treat to actually spell things with the left-overs of these small (floating) demons.
- Upon dying breath, there is a chance some of the enemies try to kill you. Thoughts goes to enemies of old Castlevania games, they had in the animation upon death to actually do a special attack.
- Cheatcodes that change % health of enemies. Low, and more. Making it a extra difficulty setting within the difficulty setting in a fast, clean way. Either towards easier or harder.
Weapons & Armor
- Make sure that there are equal "best slot in game" weapon of each: Whip, Sword, Mace, Dagger, Melee, Hammer, Gun. So there is a better variety of end-game gear, and for every taste = equal in speed and power (or very close with pro's and con's).
- Best armor in slot, should have the option for us to toggle around with, colors, glow or something similar. This to really show that you have the best armor in the game, and with a way to custom it. No need to dye EVERYTHING. Just the last and best set of armor in game. Really liked the cape-colorchange back in the day.
Music- If music can't fit on the physical copy of the album, please let the backers (or anyone) have the option to download the rest of the tracks. Flac + Mp3 is suitable. Thinking mostly if a mini-game prequal and/or retro music is created.
Misc - Xbox 360 handcontroller support on PC: Steam / GoG please.
- Is there any % counter on map explored, please have it 100% only, not 100,1 or more. That seems more like a glitch / bug. It was seen on Symphony of the Night, but had no real purpose.
Bugs- Let some gamers play to find bugs during development. I just leave THIS here.
- This forum, or any other way to report bugs while playing or easy would be a priority.

European Weapons & Armor - Mjölner: Hammer of Thor - "Obey me Thunder!" made by dwarves, can be thrown and always hits it's mark.
- Járngreipr: is the glove used by Thor to actually wield Mjölnir.
- Gram: Sword from Oden (Odin), given to Sigmund which later gave it to Sigurd Fafnesbane which used it to kill the dragon Fafner.
- Karl XII: Used a blue cape, died 1718. Was a king. See picture!
European Folklore & Monsters - Näcken: Naked man or woman by a river, playing music to lure wanderers into the water.
- Troll: Pesky small trolls, at sunlight all trolls turns to stone.
- Bergtroll: Bigger trolls, giants. Berg means mountain.
- Krampus: Dark demon goat on two legs, opposite of Santa Clause, he punish the wicked ones.
- Grendel: Big hairy human giant, child descendant from the Christian Bible: Kain, defeated by Beowolf.
- Fenrir: Giant wolf, son of the god Loki.
- Jörmundgand: Giant snake from Midgård, cast down by Thor into the ocean.
- Hel: Mistress and Lord of the Nordic hell, called Helheim.
- Blotrese: A being that takes on physical form to become stronger, drinking blood. Seems to be a "blob" kind of monster.
- Älgfrode: Think a Minotaur, but instead of a bull, you have a Moose. Älg means Moose in Swedish.
- Fafner: A dragon, protecting a treasure. Killed by the sword Gram, by Sigurd according to lore.
- Nidhögg: A dragon, living in "hell", drinking blood of the lost bodies.
- Skoll: Massive wolf, swallowed the sun at one point - Vikings shouted towards (the solar eclipse) and scared him off. In texts, he would bring an end to the sun and moon, devouring them at the events of Ragnarök / Ragnarok).
- Hraeasvelgr: Giant that turned into an eagle. Name means Corpse-eater.
- Einhärjar: Undead viking-warrior which was guided by Valkyries.

When it comes to bugs and glitches, I honestly think that some bugs make a game more enjoyable. As long as they don't break the game, or come up in normal gameplay, it's not a problem. Just playing around with the bugs in a game can add more replayability just to play around with them. Besides, it's not really possible to have a 100% bug free game.

When it comes to bugs and glitches, I honestly think that some bugs make a game more enjoyable. As long as they don't break the game, or come up in normal gameplay, it's not a problem. Just playing around with the bugs in a game can add more replayability just to play around with them. Besides, it's not really possible to have a 100% bug free game. Not asking for bug-free. Just make the map 100% as the highest number if there is a counter as such in the game.

Hmm, it seems like Dico has put up a webpage with a message: bloodstained.dico4u.com/ (language selector at the top right, it defaulted to Japanese for me). What I find interesting is what is in the footer: Artplay, Dico, and Monobit, but no Inti Creates. I found the above page from a Japanese news article that the Bloodstained twitter linked: www.gamespark.jp/article/2016/11/24/70144.htmlFrom what google translate gives, it doesn't seem like Inti Creates is mentioned here either. Yeah, the above-100% was similar in discovery to finding out that there was (SotN spoilers) an inverted castle. "Huh, I thought I was going to 100% this game, but...?!" And by that time, you probably realize that there's more to the game you don't know, and in this day and age it becomes more common knowledge the -actual- completion percentage.

um.... please tell me I am not the only person who knows why sotn's percent goes up? for one, 100% is about the full normal castle, leading the player to believe they were done with the game before the reverse castle. 200% is both castles, and 209% (approximately) is map percentage with breakable rooms. 209%(again approximately, I forget) allows the player to get the true ending after defeating Dracula. if you want bugs, go talk to the 250something percent my heart refresh save has.

Collection of my latest posts. For faster access.Up Side Down Castle. Mirror Castle - Talking about Dimensions / Other Realms. "Stained Glass Realm" and "Natural Realm". Since dimensions are timeless, there would not be any issue with a "timeline" in Bloodstained. Bad ending, Good ending.. So many different endings! - New cinematics if you play through different characters and difficulties, unlock heroes and gain true ending if you make the right choice once defeated Gebel. The Devil in the Details - Things that sticks out as original in Bloodstained. Features like peeking in a keyhole to see if its all clear to walk in, or a monster that actually leaves you alone if you feed it. Special Attack Ideas - Perhaps not the greatest collection of weapon ideas (my ideas). I brainstorm too much maybe.

Hey, just a reminder, if you guys want all of these specific things to possibly make it into the game, try to put them in each of their own categories to be submitted. Otherwise, this is more of a "it would be cool if" general discussion of what you want in the game.
At least, that's how I interpret how things should probably work. I don't know if we should for example submit things like enemy/castle area ideas again in topics separate from the established topics we've put work in already. To make it simpler for the mods/Mana etc, best to separate them out unless it's just a "hey I wonder if x will happen" thing.

- And a few different weapons that actually are end-tier, equal in power.. So you get a bit of an option to be "strongest" but can have either whip, sword, knife etc. Balance them out! The Swordwhip could be the 2nd best in slot, if that makes any sense
- A way to change costumes ingame, and a way to put mods among the costumes you have / collected.
- A room for listening to music and check paintings or art while relaxing.

Some interesting ideas from the forum, different topics.
1. When playing other characters, re-arrange the music. If there are three different versions of the same piece of music. For example if Zangetsu are playable, add in more japanese drums and such. Another way would be to add a filter over the game, so some sound effects are in that theme instead, to blend a bit into the music every now and then. In that way, it would be the sound effects apartment, and not the music itself. Another route could be that playing all three characters just unlock more music for us to listen to. For example. In a long hallway there are two tunes originally, but we only hear one with Miriam, second character we play, there will two, and from there on out, always two.
2. If it happens that you guys have more than one artwork for the official box cover, perhaps let the backers decide with a poll via kickstarter.
3. Changing costumes is a thing, we know this. From the concept art it also seems Miriam are getting other colors on her dress aswell. Wouldn't it be nice for enemies to have some different colors depending on which character you play, or as costumes as well? I would suggest re-color on enemies only if this would be a thing.
4. Some wish for more subtitles in many more languages. Would IGA support the fans in this matter, even though Konami did a "not so good voice expression"? TIf there would be fan-service for subtitles, would someone allow it for being modded or patched?
5. Many seems to like the idea of all three characters feel equal, details such as actually having a menu for all of them, and give them time to evolve. So it would feel like the game are about them, when playing as them. The lore and such could be cut out ofc, to save the cannon for Miriam, but Zangetsu with lots of different attacks, and option to enter the menu to trigger, take and change things would be an example of what would make him, if playable, equal towards Miriam. We believe (or I rather do) that IGA have had a bit more time on Bloodstained, and knowing he have given many other games so much more in terms of playable characters in the past, it would feel natural that he progress from it, and makes it better and better.
Sidenote: All ideas, could be in future patches, if these are a thing. Same goes with mods, if they would to be accepted - why not patch them in? Just some ideas.

List of "new" ideasFor me and others to find the right topic faster, when needed. Evolve Save RoomWith todays technology in gaming development it is possible to fit many aspect of features in smaller areas. Back in the day, the mecahnics and the programing were more simple and more minimal. While I still love the "minimal" design overall, both in real life and gaming, I just can't shake away the idea of Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night could use its space "more useful".
