yeah true... but I think there are SOOOOooo many ways you can play Chrono Trigger that it is understandable it's not in the 21 games. But really, the funny thing is everyone talked about the SNES classic mini in the shoutbox and not here... kinda sad, those conversations are gone now...

Would buy if Chrono Trigger, Super Mario All-stars and TMNT Turtles in Time was in it. Now I saved those money. Yeey.

Secret of Mana but not Chrono Trigger?
I will find whoever made this decision.
Joking aside, as nice of a lineup it may be, probably not going to try to get. Most of these games have had their share of digital rereleases, so if I really want to play them I'll just nab a game or two I like out of the list on the VC.

I know what you mean... the only real pull is Starfox 1+2. But to me Secret of Mana, FFIII (FFIV), Zelda (my most favorite Zelda of all time), Kirby Superstar, Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Super Metroid and EarthBound (MOTHER 2)... All of these titles, were my childhood, so I am personally excited for this... I just wish I can nab one this time around.
It is a bummer Chrono Trigger is not there, but it was not an end all be all game... there are many ways to play that games (as is with most of the games on this system). I just don't think it is as big of a loss as people are making it out to be. (this coming from a guy that owns the game in every way possible lol... except the original SNES cart sadly)

Like I said earlier, I'm slightly surprised at the lack of Chrono Trigger, but it DOES make sense. Three games makes a seventh of the library Square. Four would be close to a quarter (exactly so if you discount the Star Fox 2 unlockable) and might be pushing it since Ninty's pretty much running the show here. In addition, of the three games chosen, one has not had a significant re-release (SMRPG), and another has only been redone for phones (SoM). If it came down to Chrono Trigger or a Final Fantasy getting its "original" number back, I can understand why they sided with FF.
I'm slightly MORE surprised FF5 wasn't swapped in for FF6 on the Japanese Sufamini, though. I believe it's the more popular game amongst that fanbase.
