Classic SNES Games...

I'd replace sim city... only because I was not a huge fan of it but I would think Megaman X2 would be in there somewhere in there lol.

but yeah, I forgot about Contra III that was one of my favorite games XD loved it.

I am not sure about Star Fox unless they include the Super FX chip in the system build.

If there was going to be only one of the Donkey Kong Country games on a hypothetical Super NES mini, then it would not be 3. DKC 3 is a great game but it's generally not as highly regarded as the first two.

Despite owning a SNES I have not played most of the classics listed here. Personally I would hope for Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack, but that's probably nostalgia talking. I'm still sad Tetris Attack never got a Virtual Console release...

I have a bit of an...oddball SNES collection. I have a lot of old licensed games; my favorite being Aladdin (which is really solid for a licensed title). Out of the traditional classics, I have Super Mario World, Super Mario All Stars, and the DKC trilogy. Then there's Tetris Attack, Gradius III (which I still have not beaten to this day) and Arkanoid: Doh it Again (which I also have not beaten...)

I got the ports of Yoshi's Island and A Link to the Past on GBA, and I bought Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, and Mega Man X on Virtual Console.

I remember Aladdin was indeed a pretty good game. It seemed like to me back in those days that very, very few SNES games were bad like many were/could be on the NES and Genesis. The only deplorable one my brother and I got our hands on was the port of Pit Fighter, to my recollection. We could not figure out the controls at all...which was too bad, he liked the arcade version.

Anyway, you're kind of light on RPGs there! SM RPG is a really good one, but you gotta check out FF6 and Chrono Trigger at least. I'm a big fan of Lufia II as well, it's kind of like more fantasy leaning 2D Wild Arms with great music.

This list isn't all bad. Some of the differences in our lists I can certainly chalk up to just differences of opinion and my choices being relatively obscure, but I definitely disagree with a few of them, though lol. Can someone that's actually played NHL '94 vouch for it? Because uh...I have never seen that game on anyone's favorite SNES games list

So, let's just take that, Pilotwings and Zombies Ate My Neighbors out. Earthworm Jim too, imo, since it was originally a Genesis/Mega Drive game anyway. lol @ "there are certainly better platformers released on the SNES"

Kirby's Dream Land 3? Uh...okay, but why not Super Star AND that instead of a numbered year sports game? I don't think many people will look at the selection screen and think "hm, do I want to play an outdated x year sports game or Kirby Super Star".

Anyway, in a similar fashion, nobody wants to play Pilotwings. Maybe some of you guys out there do and I apologize lol, but well...including something because it was "influential" isn't really cutting it to me. "Admittedly, there are many superior games in the SNES library..." lol? yeah like how about

Next, Zombies. Well...it's okay I guess, but is it really something we should have over...Killer Instinct? Even a Final Fight game? I personally don't think so.
