Anyone else excited about this game? it looks like art book meets Chrono trigger. It's coming out next month on the 18th.

OH YEAH I remember watching the trailer for this! It looks really amazing, and the graphics are MINT. Definitely something I wanna try out. Do you by chance know what platforms it's gunna be on??
JK it shows the platforms at the end of the trailer. LOL yeah I saw it on Steam when I was perusing through the games for the sale. It looks very cool. :p

I am planing on buying it for my friend for his birthday... sadly I will not have enough money to buy it for myself at the same time :( That sucks. :[ yeah it's been TOO long since we've had just a good ol' turn based RPG, and I think that it looks phenomenal. It kinda reminds me of a mix between Crystal Chronicles, and the DS FF remakes. Good on you, Square Enix. It's good to see more quality work coming out. Also can't wait for FFXV. Although I'm not too sure how I feel about VII, since it won't have the same combat system that the PS1 version had. :/ |

It reminds me of Chrono Trigger, the way they get into a battle is way under appreciated (and under used).
Yeah FFVII would have been fine with just a face lift... but directors and producers always want to put their "stamp" on a project... sadly that might be the thing that ruins the game.

The Scorpio won't be out until next year, from what I heard, in the winter of next year... though the specs of the Scorpio looks dam good. I hope the PS4 can do a better job... maybe true 4k gaming (I know it's not possible but I can hope). right now I'm getting the physical ps4 disk and a gog download... I love all gaming systems but if I can get it for the PC, I want it for the PC that is why I am gonna get I am Setsuna on PC... maybe I said PC too much lol... |

PC is always an option for sure, i am thinking about doing another 125 tier so i can get a gog digital download and a ps4 disc. Two sets of soundtracks would be a nice bonus. I like my steam cards but gog drm free is great too, so best of both worlds . |

Love the look of the character art and the combat. yeah if they put everything they had into this I would think their sprites and background would have been hand painted... but for what they got I think it looks beautiful, what attracted me to the game was how pretty the visuals were. I know it's a budget title but I am hoping it's one of those diamonds in the rough... like Vagrant story, Valkyrie profile, Chrono trigger and Brave Fencer Musashi... it seemed like all of these games were released with out much thought for a full series (though some of them did get a second part, they usually lost the magic of the original). |
