E3 Demo Bug/Glitch ReportsAlthough we already have the " E3 Demo Feedback for the developer's team" for general feedback, our team wanted a separate thread solely on bug/glitch reports. For better understanding, please provide your PC specifications. The text in italic & blue are temporary fixes for the bugs. 6/24 - These are the minimum requirement to run the Bloodstained demo. Keep in mind that this demo is not optimized. If you are experience a low FPS, trying turning Aero mode ON. We don't have an explanation for this, but this has helped increase the framerate for some people. Also, keep in mind that this does not run in 32 bit. Unreal Engine 4 will only run on 64 bit, which is what Bloodstained is developed on. Report anything you find here! Thanks!

Whenever I start up the demo, it shows the screen fine until I click it into the foreground. Then my whole monitor goes black and after a while my desktop will show with the game minimized. Whenever I click the game the same black screen to desktop error occurs. I think it may have to do with the Aspect Ratio / Resolution issue, but I'm not sure.
Edit: I think I fixed it? It was weird. With my controller connected I started the game up in the background (as in another window was in front). From there I went to the title screen's Options and changed the default resolution from 1600X900 to 1080x1920. Then I started the game and put it in the foreground. Works fine now.
So it seemed to be a default Resolution issue/error (as my screen is only 1080p)?

Not a glitch/bug per se but I've had rather poor performance in this demo. Easily somewhere in the 10-15 FPS range, and my PC is no slouch. Relevant specs are as follows:
Windows 7 64-bit OS Intel i7-4790k 4GHz Processor 16GB DDR3 RAM nVIDIA GeForce 760 Graphics Card
Will be happy to provide more info if needed.

Idk about you guys, but I had a problem where I wasn't able to pick up one of the blue mana regen flower things. It fell through the level slowly and I couldn't get it.
Also, I was having really bad frame issues. I don't think my computer is that bad, but I;d love to hear if anyone else thinks its the game.

I have a problem with playing my demo. It automatically launches my Oculus Rift and I have a screen resolution bug where I can only view a small portion of the screen. Attachments:

Hitboxes for the Morte enemies don't always register Miriam's attacks. If she is too close or too far away, they will completely ignore her, but can still hit her with their attacks. A similar effect happens with the squid enemies as well (can't rmember their name).

Found a visual bug with the level up. I'll have a picture of it soon but the swipe and hilt of the sword can overlap the level up text.

If I move again I will regain control of my character. I am also using a third party controller. In specific a GCN controller connected through a Mayflash GCN to USB for WiiU/PC accessory. Whenever I use the C-Stick to aim a directional shard it aims a different direction. If I tilt the C-Stick up it aims left. I tilt to the right it aims down. I tilt down it aims right. I tilt left it aims up. Edit: Thank you for letting us know about how only Xinput works. I kind of missed that part of the e-mail. Ever since switching gamepads I haven't had a single controller related issue.

If I move again I will regain control of my character. Our game only supports XInput compatible controllers. This could be a reason why it doesn't work properly on third party controllers.

The sword seems to pass through enemies dealing no damage.

THis might purely be about my laptop not being powerful enough to handle the game (I ordered PS4 but decided to give the demo a whirl on my Steam account because why not) and i can also confirm that the Morte do not seem to be registering me hitting them.

The game crashed on its first run, but second time it runs pretty well. Seems like other people have the same issue too on the feedback thread.

Anyone with Oculus Rift that downloads this demo will have issues. I just unplugged Oculus from the PC and it now plays!

I posted this on the Kickstarter, and I'm not sure how important this is anyhow, but if I try to start the game with an HTC Vive attached to my computer then it starts up the Vive and SteamVR. Closing SteamVR also shuts down the game. The workaround, obviously, is to unplug the headset.
Also, I seem to be having a lot of issues with the Steam Controller when trying to use it on the demo, but that's probably because it isn't officially supported or what have you (though I hope that isn't always the case).

Been getting a lot of performance issues with the demo, and it can drop till 10-15 fps, I was lucky that I managed to play through the demo with 60 fps and I don't know if this is a glitch/bugs, it's on the shard, if you got the shards after killing the enemy, but accidentally falls into another area or moves to another area, you will not obtained the shard, and the shard will be gone after you go back to the same area
SPECS: Windows 10 64-bit Intel i5 4670K 3.4GHz 16GB of RAM GTX 770 OC 4GB

Game loads up in some sort of strange, unplayable window. The game didn't try to open with SteamVR before, but renaming the OpenVR dll file made the game load correctly.

I tried both full screen and windowed modes and got the same result each time I played. I should also note I got the "Fatal Error" bug the first time I launched the game but it didn't come up again afterward.
