Not a fan of the harsh outline the shader puts on the cannon's barrel. Other than that, it looks great!
EDIT: Maybe change the color of the shading to a dark outline--like what is on Miriam's leg in the idle pose.
EDIT2: I'm actually looking back at other recent footage and Miriam, the cannon, and the chests all seem to pop out too much. The shader is making those things look like they are paper cut-outs glued onto the background. The backgrounds all look amazing, but the said items don't look like they belong. It is like the backgrounds have depth, but the other pieces look flat and pasted on. Kind of like in a Paper Mario game or something. I don't notice it on Miriam when she is in motion--only when she is idle. Hopefully they can tweak the shader to have it not pop those items so much.
Gotta say I agree with the cannon barrel. It's like they have to make it obvious you can use it. I rather discover things for myself without the game telling us hey check this out. Ditch the outline look there.
Although I disagree about the items in the background. It looks like the shader on Miriam. If anything I wish the BACKGROUNDS would change more to that look, give it a more painting look like the items and Miriam has.

While I would prefer not to change the backgrounds (because they are awesome), it would make everything feel "right" if everything matched. So either change the items a bit to not pop so much or make the backgrounds have the same type of outline on edges and such so that foreground and background look like they belong together.

I'll say it's not so much I want the outline I just love the watercolor painted look. It looks beautiful and artful. I think the backgrounds could use MORE of that look to pop out more

I think the whole point is that characters and objects look more interactable. They pop on top of the background and you can tell where enemies are placed. (For example, Klonoa does this well) Sprites on 3d have always been a cool style in my opinion. I don't know if this is what the team is going for but either way I wouldn't mind seeing the shader applied to everything too (not the outline on everything though).
Thank you for the .webm of the footage Ciel ! I appreciate it and I'm sure others do too.
nekurors pointed out a comment Ben Judd made about the demo in the Kickstarter Update 39 comments and I thought it'd be worth sharing/re-posting here. Thanks for highlighting that, Nekurors.
"Longer than it has any right being" sounds promising.
My guess is this demo might be allow access to the entirety of Galleon Minerva, which they can add to as development continues.

I watched the video. It felt like eating dessert before eating dinner, but I regret nothing and the actual demo stream is probably going to give a much better look at the game. It's really cool to see IGA just hanging out there like it's no big deal. I hope he didn't accidentally spill his drink on any of the electronic equipment (and acts careful around it in the future).
Didn't notice anything that felt like a demo spoiler to me, but there was a moment where I went "Oh, THAT's the purpose of that one thing," in the first 30 seconds.

The Chinese game media source G-Cores.com published a BS demo gameplay footage on E3, I uploaded it on my own server so everybody could take a look!
Apparently someone is drinking beer!
It's not considered a spoiler to me imo, the update pretty much says what will be in the demo Though I do understand why some people think of this as a major spoiler
More gameplay of the demo!! Definitely could seem like a spoiler, be warned. It's about 2 minutes of the ship! (Also it's a link to Gamespot's website)
Ciel: Been a long time since I last logged here, but it seems that until we get any news of a sequel, there won't be much to discuss. Oh well!

purifyweirdshard: The discord is certainly where the activity is, but we'll keep this forum up and running as long as we can. Bloodstained's subreddit also still moves along pretty well

LeoLeWolferoux: Man, Yeah I'm surprised IGA hasn't said *anything* about a B:ROTN 2. As far as I know he had full intentions of making one, but radio silence as far as I know. :/
