I was just in the middle of making the thread haha (beat me to it). The schedule is unclear but usually Anime Expo has a panel for their Guest of Honor and another day for autograph session. I'll be tagging along as his personal liaison.

I like IGA with a beard better. Beard life! Today's top story: Koji Igarashi is the latest Guest of Honor for Anime Expo 2016. There has been reports claiming that the IGA in the photo is an impostor. Don't worry guys, he still has his beard and hat  . |

Something about beardless IGA seems incredibly suave and charming to me. He looks like he could be the mascot for a classy beer ( IPAvania?). Now I'm getting the mental image of IGA taking pictures with Bloodstained cosplayers and having a lot of fun. It must feel incredibly rewarding to have people cosplaying something you're currently working on. If there is a panel for IGA at AX, will it be streamed? It'd be a good opportunity to reveal new details about Bloodstained and I'm sure fans who can't make it to AX would appreciate it. I hope everyone who wants to meet him at AX gets the chance, everything dealing with the con goes smoothly for you, Mana, and IGA enjoys a short break from working on Bloodstained! |

Yo he actually got rid of the facial hair. Looking like more of the old school young IGA. Something like a panel would be a good thing to look forward to, hopefully Ben will be alongside him. It's too bad since it's always in the states it's impossible to have the chance to go.

I can't make AX16 simply because I'm already going to CONvergence that weekend, so an archive of the panel and any announcements to watch after I've returned would be preferable for me. |

Meeting Mr. Igarashi was one of the highlights of AX2016 for me. I also love how Bloodstained's director/producer (whose name escapes me atm... it's the one who's not Igarashi-sama), was sitting at the Inti booth and remembered me as "the guy who talked to them at Smashburger during E3". Mr. Aizu also remembered me (which was awesome!), and I got to meet both Igarashi-sama and Inafune-sama together. I'm glad to also have met Mana in-person (she is very, very gorgeous! She reminds me a lot of a short-haired Shanoa).
As I said, I'm fine with no signature because I'll be getting a signed copy off the KS next year, but I just really wanted to show everyone working on Bloodstained that there are some very passionate fans like us who love his games, and would like him to succeed. I hope you guys loved Anime Expo, and I hope to see you guys soon!
