Eh, I've got no problem with this. I invested for having a fun game worth $60 (meaning, not a typical Castlevania ~10-15 hour romp, but around ~25-30), so if a delay means a more polished, content filled game, then that's fine. They've shown enough at this point that it's not going to be vaporware or even worse, another Star Citizen. I mean, they could have done the cowardly thing and made this an eternal 'Early Access' game, in which case I would be unhappy. Nebulous target dates are a dangerous thing. No, games stuck in Early Access/beta forever are a dangerous thing. The devs grow lazy at releasing a finished product since they're already getting paid, and constant player feedback dilutes the dev's vision/choices for the game. Not saying that player feedback is always invalid, but I generally prefer to trust the devs to come up with their own ideas and solutions—exceptions abound, of course.

Looks excellent so far, very happy with the direction this is going. Music sounds great, a very Falcom-ish feel to it. A few suggestions though (these may or may not already be planned, if they are just ignore):
- Add some type of visual effect for when Miriam dodges and jumps. It helps us track her movement, plus looks cool. Example:
- Add some type of visual effect for when Miriam picks up coins. Wasn't able to find a decent example of this, but something like a small burst of particles (matching the color of the coin?) on pick up. Again, it helps with visual confirmation of acquisition.
Now, for a larger request (might not be feasible or even a good idea):
- More detailed enemy attack telegraphing, like including "red areas/lines" for where the damage zone will be. Might be considered too much hand-holding, but I feel it frustrates players a lot less.

Jeez, an email that got sent directly to main inbox? Must be important.
Anyway, general opinion on /v/ seems to be that the art style is meh, at least what's seen from the demos. My personal opinion has been that the current art style is passable, but nothing that really "wows" me. Whatever the case with this poll, I think it's imperative that some collaboration with other artists is a good thing. I don't want this becoming one of *those* Kickstarter games. It's in everyone's interest to get this resolved quickly and neatly.

Has Iga mentioned anything about including support for PS4 Pro features, like 4k resolution/better post-processing effects/HDR etc.? Might consider switching from the PC version, depending.
Maybe this could be addressed in a future update?

"Gebel" sounds more like "جبل" (jabal), meaning "mountain." Surprised that Iga spelled it with a "g" instead of "j"; if he wanted a more Arabic-looking name, "j" would have been better. Since it's with a "g", though, it *could* be European in origin. But I'm going with "jabal" or "mountain." Oh wait, apparently it's a German surname, and given "Johannes" and "Miriam," it's probably just another German name. Or it could be a reference to all of these things.
