If Iga and company make an effort for the game to work properly on Wine and not Bootcamp that would be amazing, but we have no guarantee it will. A refund would be the best bet and it blows my mind that it was not the first words out of their mouths. If they ended up making Bloodstained compatible with Mac/Linux people would probably still buy it. It's all about good faith. And the tree analogy would work (heh wood), but the situation is different. "If you back us we will make sure we won't fell this tree when we build this *anything*." Great! We love trees. We will back you because you said this. *years later* "We fell that tree. It was necessary to build *thing*." So now we know that a tree fell because a. You told us and b. You made us aware of the tree before we backed you.

let me put it this way, would you rather they spent an extra 3 million and 6-9 months fixing whatever incompatability issues they found (which could be anything from a persistent memory leak, bethesda levels of CTDs, a need to restructure the file structure, to unreal itself just refusing to cooperate with mac/linux) ON TOP OF all the bugs theyre already encountering unique to switch/ps4/xbox/pc and risk the game not coming out at all, or they get their hands on the various bootstrap programs and make sure theyre the most compatible pc game out there for maybe 100k in costs and a month of rigorous testing I would rather they spent an extra 3 million and 6-9 months fixing things ON TOP OF all the bugs theyre already encountering unique to switch/ps4/xbox/pc and risk the game not coming out at all. I am a PS4 backer, but I am tired of people not being true to their word. For me everything is about principles, stand by what you say or don't say anything. No one is accountable for anything in this world anymore. I see apologists everywhere, everyday for every aspect of life. If it means Mac/Linux users are left out in the cold I don't want to be a part of the problem, I would rather be part of the solution. I would gladly give up my game if it meant it was developed for the platforms initially stated. But all I see are people echoing "I will get my copy so sucks to be you, too bad." This is not the way people should support each other. Edit: Ultimately, I think it's clear that refunding Mac and Linux users would be ideal; but I'm not convinced 505 made a morally questionable decision in deciding not to offer refunds. When we tend to look at game companies as selfish entities out to exploit the consumer we tend to forget one very important detail: just as often, consumers themselves are selfish people all too eager to exploit game companies, either because of greed or a misguided sense of entitlement (look no further than piracy as an example, though there are countless others). The main problem I see is this, people are people, companies are not people, protecting companies as if they were people is sickening.

On the topic of refunds, don't expect them. Kickstarters tell ya up front there is risk and that once your money is in, it's in. Sure, refunds are possible, but I think anyone who expects a refund is just not seeing the reality of how that money is already budgeted. When you back a Kickstarter you aren't purchasing a product or making a pre-order. You are giving a creator a chance to make their project a reality. That is by far the most worrying part of this. Iga's reputation is behind this. A lot of people blacklist companies for failing to deliver. Also wouldn't it be more fair if they never refunded Vita or WiiU backers then? I don't find any of this adding up.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Save Select: 2/5 The vocal range seems a bit on the low side. Not bad, but felt off. Danger: 3/5 Good atmosphere, well composed. Fitting theme, but my major gripe is that it is easy forgettable. Voyage of Promise (Galleon Minerva): 4/5 Iconic and full of energy. Classic and easily recognizable. Charming and haunting. Love the Piano. Theme of Gebel: 3/5 Fitting but underwhelming. Boss (Vepar): 3/5 Was a 2 but upgraded to a 3, took 1:14 to kick in. Arrive the Village: 3/5 Melancholy and beautiful. Theme of Dominique (Shop): 4/5 Enchanting and calming. I can see myself having this as background music for all my tasks at home. Theme of Johannes (Workshop): 3/5 Am a bit surprised at the militaristic theme of this piece. Luxurious Overture (Castle Entrance): 4/5 Luxurious indeed. Again, iconic and energetic. Theme of Alfred: 2/5 A bit too chaotic for my taste, if it was going for insidious it came off as curious. Garden of Silence: 4/5 Fantastical and exotic. I love it. Theme of Zangetsu: 4/5 Paints a picture in your mind. The chiming was perfect. The Executioners (Boss Song): 4/5 A fitting Boss fight if I ever heard one. I am getting pumped and hyped from listening to this. Unknown (datamined): 4/5 Oooooooh! ARE YOU READY?! Piano Song (without and with Lyrics) (datamined): 4/5 I am intrigued. My guess would be end credits. Cathartic. And those vocals! Japanese Area Song: 4/5 Reminds me of the Yoshida Brothers. Gears of Fortune: 4.5/5 I am reluctant to give something a perfect score. Definitely saving the best for last though. You can tell this is a game piece. A rollercoaster of entertainment, each instrument gets it's own time to shine without overshadowing. Curse of the Moon: File Select: 4/5 Intro: 4/5 Miriam Theme: 3/5 Alfred Theme: 2/5 Gebel Theme: 3/5 Stage 1 [Moonlight Temptation]: 3/5 Stage 2 [Frigid Hell]: 4/5 Stage 3 [The Brilliant Void]: 4/5 Stage 4 [Blasphemy unto Heaven]: 3/5 Stage 5 [Sunder the Night]: 4/5 Stage 6 [Tragedy of Slaughter]: 3/5 Stage 7 [Defiler of Taboos]: 4/5 Stage 8 [Curse the Moon]: 4/5 Stage 9A [Fallen Moon's Requiem]: 3/5 Stage 9B [Fallen Moon's Requiem]: 2/5 Boss Theme: 2/5 Final Boss A (Gremory): 2/5 Final Boss B (Zangetsu): 3/5 Credits: 4/5 Only 1 or 2 pieces really have my attention, most songs are fitting and enjoyable, some are a bit underwhelming, nothing truly disappointing, but I am still waiting on that penultimate Gregorian chanting or heavenly choir to blow me away. Although I wouldn't be opposed to an Air de cour, Ambrosian chant, or Ballade, actually I think that I just want stronger vocals.

So Undergrads was an animated tv show that in 2001, MTV aired. Now it might be getting a Movie! This cult hit had 13 episodes that aired 17 years ago. It has since been shown on Comedy Central in the United States, Teletoon in Canada, and Trouble in the United Kingdom. This Canadian cartoon was my favourite show when I first went to High school. Loveable, relatable characters, fantastic music, nostalgia and references galore. Check it out.

Your favorite Indie Metroidvanias: Does Faxanadu count? I'm saying Faxanadu. How you feel about new remakes and HD titles coming out recently: I don't like buying the same game multiple times. That being said, if the game is over 15 years old I would like some of my games on a current system instead of trying to hook up an old system to a new TV. If you could remake one non-Nintendo or SQ-EX game from PS2 or earlier, what would it be?: Summoner for the PS2. One of the best, underrated games I have ever played.

I'm not sure of the exact date, but I think it will be earlier than December. Angel said as much in the KS comments: "lol definitely not Dec. 31, 2019 " But who knows, there's still a lot of time left even given that information (not-December). I suppose we'll see. I'm sorry, but messages like these can't simply be forgotten. 2018 has been the release window. It doesn't matter if a formal or informal one, at this point. THIS is what people read, and THIS is why IF the game is delayed to 2019 the delay MUST be recognized as such. And saying that it's people fault because they "interpreted it wrongly" is simply not true and mustn't happen, because it would be an act of great disrespect at this point. 2019 is the new release window. Second time I have read "Definitely" by a certain time. I am still erring on the side of caution; the game will be out when it's out. Trying to guess a time frame is ludicrous.

I can't recall if a decision has been made, but this line "This decision is largely due to Sony’s plans to discontinue the Vita console, ending production of physical copies and stopping certain online store support features." makes me wonder if staggered release of content has been confirmed. When released will we get the full game, or will it be piecemeal?
