I have no problem with it if the price is reasonable for the content provided. If it's merely cosmetic,* and if the items are added directly to the player's inventory, then I'd want it to definitely be on the lower end of the given pricing scale: maybe $3 at the very most. And even then, I'd say that if there's more than $20 total in cosmetic DLC, then it's probably not a great look, though it's not like there aren't well loved games that get away with more(e.g. pretty much anything Paradox makes). Maybe a touch more if they are added to the game as treasure found through exploration or defeating new enemies, but at that point, I'd question if there might be a better use for their time since more than just the art team would be needed for that.
What I really don't want to see is an amount of cosmetic DLC rivaling or exceeding the base cost of the game to purchase. At the very most, I would say that the cost of smaller DLC, cosmetic or otherwise, should ideally never total in at more than half the cost of the game + any full content expansions that might be made available for purchase after the stretch goal content is completed. To me, that is about where the boundary between increasing revenue to fund future games and outright milking lies.
I think there needs to be some care taken here in terms of image. I'd like to think that the game has done well enough that ArtPlay can fund their next game without a need to resort to Kickstarter again. But in the case that assistance is needed, good will from how purchasers of this game were treated is going to be what gets the job done. You can already pretty much count Mac and Linux users out altogether, and even if efforts to optimize and improve go fantastically, some Switch gamers are going to be hard to bring on board as well. So for the remaining customers, I think that ArtPlay and 505 should always be thinking "how will this be perceived" not just on what actions they take, but the manner in which they are executed. Paid DLC itself isn't a dealbreaker for most, but no one wants to feel like cash cow.
So I say go for it, but proceed with caution.
* normally I'd be against any non-cosmetic DLC altogether, but the casual disdain this game (and most of Iga's others) has towards balanced equipment makes me feel this could be an exception as long as the effects weren't clearly superior to what was available in the base game. Still, cosmetic is my preference for this sort of thing by far.

Bit of a gripe about the digital soundtrack. They did that thing where they only run through a single iteration of a song and then fade out. That's fine for the longer tracks, but then you have songs like Cursed Orphan which only clock in at a little over a minute. IMO, it would have been better to loop the shorter songs a couple of times to make them more listenable. As it is, I'm going to need to edit the files myself to make them loop cleanly.

So upgraded True Arrow is pretty awesome. As long as you can get a clear shot, it's basically a shotgun, and I've killed a couple of bosses with it (normal difficulty) without depleting my mana bar.

Now I KNOW what weapon I need to farm for, the Rhava Velar. Now to just find where the recipe and components are. Killer Barber has a 4% chance of dropping the weapon itself.

Speculation on Reddit is that the third character is Aurora from Child of Light based on the flute music at the end of the trailer. Though that could just be another transform.

Okay, a couple of questions on uses for found items: - Johannes says that you need recipe books to unlock new alchemy and cooking recipes, but how do you actually use them once you have them? There doesn't seem to any way to actually give them to him, and you can't use them yourself.
- You can buy rice and potato seeds from Dominique that say you can grow rice from them, but there's no indication of where or how that is done. Anyone figure that out yet?

Have a pretty annoying bug on PC(GOG). The game is confusing inputs, making Miriam attack whenever I jump(she still jumps. She just also attacks with the same button). Going into options/controls and exiting out temporarily fixes the problem, but it comes back repeatedly, usually in less than a minute.

@bloodymiri I can definitely understand being disappointed if you happen to have backed for one of those platforms, just like I can understand being disappointed about the Switch delay or the delay for Japanese fans in general(especially the latter considering how uncommon gaming PCs are in Japan). Lots of respect from me (for whatever little that's worth) for expressing it in a civil manner.

@bloodymiri Pretty sure that's not a backer thing at all. Basically, the DLC - regardless of how much you backed for or even if you backed at all - will be delayed on the PS4 and Xbone platforms. PC and Switch will have it available on release. Yup, exactly this. At least in this case, it's no longer "Day-1 DLC"... I doubt it'll do much, but maybe it'll smooth at least one ruffled feather or so. Yeah, I wouldn't count on that. There are some people who have had the same issues with the project fairly consistently, but there are others(not so much on this site as some others) who may have started off with one complaint, but have turned into something akin to outrage ambulance chasers, taking any opportunity to take a stab at the game. I fully expect the same people who complained about day 1 DLC to also complain about that DLC being delayed.

freddythemonkey To be fair, this is something a lot of fans literally asked for. It will make the final result better both from a collector's standpoint and from the standpoint of game preservation. An actual complete product, no patches or downloads needed. And in the mean time, you still get to play the game through a digital copy you'll be given even if it wasn't part of your original pledge.

So, thoughts. The slipcover, I like. The not-quite-minimalism design works for me, and it kind of strikes me as something you'd expect to see on the cover of a limited print of a comic book. I also happen to like simple, striking designs, so yeah, it's good in my eyes. I could see people who prefer something more involved looking being disappointed, but I'm the kind of guy that would rather have a well done vector silhouette on my desktop than a painting.
The shirt is also great. The monochrome design is a good fit for Gremory, I think, and I like the inclusion of the castle in the background. It almost looks like something you'd see on the cover of a metal album. I don't usually wear much red, but I think I'll actually wear this from time to time.
Man, only eleven days left. Now the real question: do I play Order of Ecclesia in preparation for this, or do I re-watch the first two seasons of Legion before season three comes out on the 24th?
