Everyone knows my position about Dominique's fantastic design, i don't need to say this again. But i agree, time to give some love to the other two. I was observing them, and reading their material and some things also came to my mind.
What Galamoth said is something i noticed too. To be fair, i remember that a online friend of mine said he doesn't liked Bloodstained because it is too "carbon-copy" of Order of Ecclesia. I don't agree with him, but, yeah, there are quite a lot of similarities. I was paying attention and the correlation became clear. I think most people noticed this already, but i'm going to say it anyways.
Miriam <=> Shanoa: They have the same overall look, with black hair and blue dress with pieces of assymetric armor and clothing. But their themes are different. Shanoa remembers a crow of some sort, due to her overly long black hair and gothic look. That is more noticable when you get the Volaticus Glyph, that gives her crow-like dark feathered wings to fly. Miriam, on the other hand, has a flower and stained glass theme, with her crystalized skin forming roses and colored stained glasses. (It would be awesome if Miriam had a Flying Shard that give her crystal wings). And both have the same role as protagonists.
Johannes <=> Albus: They have the same color pallete of sorts (browish). At first, they don't seem to have the same role, since Albus looks like a villian in the beginning (but it isn't really) but since we don't know how Johannes will work in the plot, we can'r say if there isn't a correlation there.
Alfred <=> Barlowe: As Galamoth said. Both are father figure of the main characters, both are old men, but their looks are really different. Barlowe is more unique and Alfred looks more like Dracula. Their roles also seem to be different.
Gebel <=> Dracula: Gebel, being the Castle Lord and everything, of course is a expy of Dracula, although Gebel looks more like Alucard than Dracula itself.
Anne <=> Anna: Yes, there is a Anna in Order of Ecclesia. And she looks like Anne, albeit Anne is Blonde and Anna is brunette. Anna doesn't have much of a role in Order of Ecclesia, but Anne has, so, they are different in that regard.
Only Zangetsu and Dominique doesn't have correlations in Order of Ecclesia. I'm not saying this as a bad thing. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night IS a spiritual sucessor of Castlevania. It is only logic that IGA decided to make a closer relation to his last major Castlevania game. But it is still interesting to notice that IGA and the dev team didn't tried to get too far away from it. It almost looks like they wanted us to spot those similarities as a ton of shout outs, to feel more like a spiritual sucessor than anything.

I posted a fanart made by me here, but it is too bad, i gave up on showing and deleted it I actually saw it before you deleted it but had to leave to take care of something before I could post a reply. Can you bring the art back? You said you were an artistic neophyte and with that in mind I thought it was good. Nobody starts out amazing at anything. To get good you need the right mix of talent, luck and hard work with the later being the big deciding factor (and also the thing you can personally influence). The more you practice the better you will get. If you really want to sharpen your artistic skills, keep drawing everyday and you will improve. Don't be afraid to show your work - nobody here is going to tear you down and if you actually want critiques they will be respectful and constructive. Don't hide the things you love and don't be ashamed - show off your stuff and keep working hard The thing is, that i started learning years ago, trained for some more years, than i gave up because i never saw any improvement. Anyways , this is off-topic.

Ixbran hey there! I read everything you wrote, let me do my constructive criticism Also let me say a thing or two about what crocodile has spoken. Everything i will say below is based on tons of materials i read about japanese culture, specially anime / gaming culture. I MAY BE WRONG. ABOUT BLONDE HAIR AND BLUE EYED CHARACTERS
In general, japanese people identify foreigner as being blondes, with blue eyes. That has nothing to do with ideology of any kind. It is simply a cultural trait. When you live in a certain place, you tend to create characters that look more closer to what you see everyday, and when you want to create something more unique, you search for looks that you aren't used to see. So, they normally identify foreigners, non-japanese people with blonde hair and blue eyes simply because you don't see that in japanese people naturally. Take a look at several animes out there, specially when you have western characters interacting with eastern ones, and you can see that most western characters are blondes and / or have blue eyes. That doesn't always means any kind of accuracy. Brazilians are all brown in animes (and that is not true), for instance. Normally, europeans and americans are all blondes, brazilians and africans are all blacks and brown. That is a cultural trend, not a specific ideology or anything of the sort. Another reason for this, is because, in japanese otaku culture, hair color denotes personality. Black hair is mysterious, refined, powerful and independent. Grey and silver hair is calm, obscene, sublime, powerful. Brown hair means practical, consistent, sincere. Red hair means seductive, enthusiastic, hot-headed. Blonde hair means charming, ditzy, pure, holy AND foreign. You can also see that on blood type. A lot of japanese characters have blood type, you can see that in character lists in animes and games, something most of us simply doesn't care. And that is because there is a tradition of linking blood type to personality. Type A is sensible, reserve, patient, while Blood B is passionate and creative, Type AB is cool and controlled and type O is confident and ambitious. Japan and eastern in general is REALLY concerned and linked to symbolism. Hair color, eye color, blood type, all that denotes symbolic means that they really care about. ABOUT SEXY LOOK
As i said above, eastern games in general doesn't care at all about accuracy in clothing. Just look at Final Fantasy 7 and beyond to see that. 90% of their characters use completely impossible and useless clothing, because it is stylish, not because it is accurate. Eastern, specially japanese, put style (badass, sexy, cute, etc) over coherence. It's a nationwide japanese trend that is just getting stronger. Another thing to understand is that, in japanese culture, and eastern culture in general, the "sexualization" has a very different approach than for westerns. Japanese culture also has a real big thing with innocence and purity. A figure of innocence, like a nun, is easily sexualized due to being the pinnacle of purity and innocence. CLOSING COMMENTS
I'm not saying they shouldn't change those things (although i don't think they should, at all). And i'm not saying those things are set in stone, of course there are a lot of exceptions. I'm just explaining how japanese culture, specially otaku and gaming culture normally works. If you don't know how Japanese culture is, it is easy to think what has been said here.

the designs are nice but ... ... You know I'm going to just withhold my personal opinions regarding them since I dont want people getting upset at me for them. It's just nice to get some more new info on the game as a whole. Can't wait to see where the game goes from here. Let your voice be heard You will not get anything worse than constructive criticism (i hope).

I have a small question, and perhaps this gets to the person who wrote the update. Is the Book of Logaeth actually supposed to be the Book of Loagaeth? If it's supposed to be referencing a real-world book of mysticism and Enochian language, this is a translation error. I also noticed this. It is called Liber Loagaeth, not Liber Logaeth. That kinda puzzled me too.

purifyweirdshard OOh, i get it. Well, maybe we will have some kind of weapon and shard combination, or simply shards that will look like sub-weapons. Aria of Sorrow had that with Dagger-throwing souls for instance. Foffy About Dominique's design and the relation to Sypha and size of breasts (i know that's what you implied). I want to give a bigger opinion here. IN MY HONEST OPINION, and no one needs to agree with me AND i respect other's opinions, i personally don't see a single bit of a problem with that. We are at new times, things are changing and i'm all favor to that. We have badass women as characters everywhere, but it seems a uproar always shows up when someone decides to put a single big breasted character or a character in a skimpy clothing or anything like that. For some reason, people decided that big-breastes girls, bare-chested six-pack men can't be heros and heroines in videogames anymore. For some reason, having a big rack or a six pack violates some laws i'm unaware about. It's sad, really. As i said, i respect other's opinions and i know these kinds of designs even offends some people. But not me. For all i care, Dominique can have boucing breasts all around while breathing and i will still think she is a badass woman. But that's me. I do not see how times are changing with a character who has breasts that help make parts of her attire look like they're being pushed off. This is not something new or a sign of change, for this is kind of a anime trope. I am not bothered by the breasts. I am bothered that the breasts are designed in a way with her attire that it gives this impression they are opposing the white shirt that's supposed to be over them, as if they are opposing magnets. I find that very hideous because it doesn't seem like a complimentary design. Vepar has breasts, but I think it's fun lore play to know Vepar is a male. Laura had noticeable breasts on Order of Ecclesia but her dress didn't look like it was in a losing battle with them. I do not object to complimentary designs, and I find very little, if anything, complimenting Dominique's design unless she were a succubus or is a disguise for Gremori or something of the kind. It screams pandering if she's supposed to be a noble, humane character, but almost painfully obvious if she's supposed to be a character that takes advantage of lust or human qualities of those around her for dark gains. Times are changing because we don't see that too often anymore. We have different shapes of characters for all tastes in many games, really. Well, Bloodstained is made by japanese people, built in basic anime tropes, draw in manga style. Igavanias ALWAYS had inconsistent designs, because that's also a trope for many japanese games. Take a look at Final Fantasy from 7 and over, Devil May Cry, basically all Igavanias, Grandia, The series "Tales of"... Most japanese games have designs that are made to look stylish, badass, cute or sexy over anything else, like practicality or usefulness. Most japanese games have style over coherence. Miriam is going to fight inside a castle filled with demons, wearing a blue dress, poofy pants and one almost bare breast. We have a sword wielding japanese warrior with half his chest bare, killing demons with 1/3 of an upper armor and pants. We have a villian that wears nothing but a huge cape with his crystal chest bare. Alfred is a ultra badass alchemist that is wandering for 10 years now, and he is dressed in rags. Stylish, but rags. The man didn't had time to get new clothes. He still walks around with clothes full of holes and ripped off. That's how japanese game designers are. Dominique is just inside the same convo. Again, i want to reinforce here that i'm just stating my opinion. I respect yours completely and understand your concerns.

Enkeria Yeah, i saw that too! I'm waiting for something bigger. By the way, that reminds me... It would be nice to have a foward Demo. You know, a demo with Miriam at a higher level, with some stuff (equipments, Shards) inside a closed part of the Castle, for us to play around a little. So, we could get a feeling of how the game will REALLY be. For instance, Miriam at LV 20, inside a middle area of the Castle, closed, of course (several doors closed due to being a demo) with some weapons and equipment on the Menu and some Shards from ALL types (including familiars) for us to have a better feel of the game. purifyweirdshard i didn't saw your whole question, and i have nothing against sub-weapons! The thing is that i think sub-weapons are better fit for Castlevanias. Bloodstained is a spiritual sucessor, but it needs to break out from some themes, that's the only reason i said i wouldn't like it. But i agree that, with some clever and creative programming, something akin to sub-weapons but not-as-much-as-them could work

Great! Great! Great! What a awesome update! Great characters! Great Ask IGA! Without even showing off any kind of footage! My analysis, step-by-step ABOUT ASK IGA
We got a lot of very good information here. The first question, about enemies whose level are way higher than what it would be expected for that part of the game, was something really interesing in SOTN and it is great this is coming back. Very few Igavanias had this after Symphony, so, it is a great idea. And also reinforces how much of freedom of exploration we will have in Bloodstained! The second question, about details in game design that are not easily noticeable, it always impressed me how much dedication IGA gives to the main character. He is really dedicated to how the character is animated, how it moves, how it plays around, in order to make it as fluid and fun as possible. The Demo, several months ago, already showed us that this was achieved and it is only going to get better from there on. The third question, about special commands, Bloodstained team already confirmed this for us before, but i want to highlight the fact that IGA said that this time it will be a little different. How? Maybe they will not be fightning games-esque commands? Or we will have to find them as scrolls or something, to unlock them? I'm so excited! The fourth question, got me thinking a lot. Yes, bloodstained will not have sub-weapons (and that's good, i wouldn't like this), instead, we will have weapons that has special powers linked to Shards? For real?! That seems really interesting! Maybe some shards can only be used with specific weapons? Or some weapons change the behaviour of some shards? Imagine a Familiar Shard whose familiar changes it's behaviour when using a special weapon? Endless combinations! Choose your strategy to fight in Gebel's Castle! LATE-EDIT: I also remembered about Shield Rod + Shields combinations on Symphony. I was wondering if we could reveal some special abilities on shards, by combining them with weapons somehow, summoning creatures that those shards normally wouldn't do it by using the normal way...The fifth question, about the Next Demo, that was a given. Of course they will give us something more to play. Good to know that. The sixth question, i personally also like Lament of Innocence (Curse of Darkness, in the other hand, had a great gameplay system but horrible scenarios), i would prefer if IGA could stick to the 2d games, it is his specialty and we have a lack of triple A 2d games, filled mostly by indies. BUT! whateaver the man wants to do. The seventh question, about the mini-game, he can't say anything about it yet. That sound both good or bad. Good in "it's a development secret, we wanna surprise you!" and bad in "we have absolutely no idea how we will do this". I hope it is the first one. ABOUT DOMINIQUE BALDWIN
ABOUT HER DESIGN: Here comes my new waifu! I got right my especulation about a... plot-heavy character (big breasts). She has a great visual! She's so beautiful and elegant. Her clothes are a classic "I am from the magical undisclosed church" look you have in some games, specially MMOs. The beret-type hat is a nice substitute to a holy veil, while her dress, with long open sleeves, gives a sorcery vibe. This dress, with a corset-like waist that acccentuates her curvy body, is damn sexy. The white half-shirt, opening right on her volumous breasts, is also there to accentuate them. Cute fillet on her left leg, legs dressed with dark panty hose and high-heels. What is not to love on this holy sexy design? ABOUT HER PLOT: Of course the church wouldn't do nothing while a big freaking demonic castle shows up 10 years after demons start to havoc europe. She will support Miriam as a shopkeeper, but we already know she will take some trips ocasionally and Anne will take her place. Also, while the church labeled Miriam and Gebel as Demons, Domonique sees them as human beings. AND she is a old friend of Johannes, and SHE asked him to summon Miriam from her slumber? That's interesting. Those trips she will do, could be related to her as a playable character? I would love that. (I made a thread about it. See it HERE). ABOUT ALFRED ABOUT HIS DESIGN: What a Dracula-vibe, Alfred has. A old man with long beard, long white hair and stylish rags. His brown cape, covering his shoulders, make me wonder that is not only to look like a cape, but to conceal a man with a strong body. The dark clothing, with the withe below it, give a very interesting look, if you think in symbolism about morallity. Never gray. Only black or white. And that tie with curse-like flowers? Alfred has a very symbolic design. I like it. ABOUT HIS PLOT: As i said before, of course someone from the guild would survive and Alfred is that one. He is the adoptive father, in a way, of Johannes and Miriam, he "lost his former self" and is seeking for the book of Logaeth. Something related to Logaeth was mentioned before. Back in 2015, IGA gave an interview, and at one point, talking about the plot, he said this: "Miriam fell into a comatose state, so she couldn’t be the sacrifice, but using Gebel, the Alchemists were successful in summoning the demons. Miraculously, though, Gebel survived the ritual. By the way, it was the Enochian Tablet and Liber Logaeth that were used for the summoning. They’re written in the Enochian language, the language that was used by Adam in the Garden of Eden when he first gave names to everything."The book of Logaeth was part of the summoning ritual. So, they used something called "Enochian Tablet" and something called "Liber Logaeth" (most probably the book) to transform Miriam and Gebel into beacons to summon demons and the book is with Gebel (Enochian Tablet is with Johannes?). I can already make three speculations: 1) Alfred will be a boss, either possessed by a demon or using his own alchemy powers, probably a late game boss. Something like Barlowe from Order of Ecclesia. 2) Alfred will be Gebel's advisor, a right-hand man that could either be a total loyal servant (like Death from Castlevanias) or be something like a manipulator, controlling Gebel with his words and having his own agenda. 3) Alfred will be the true final boss. ABOUT ANNE KNOLLES ABOUT HER DESIGN: Such a cute girl! Long braided hair, blue eyes, peasant style clothes with brown bag, green dress and a blue cover. There isn't much to say about it, but she has quite a classic (even a little overused) design. ABOUT HER PLOT: Her parents were murdered and Anne was saved by Dominique and Miriam. I wonder if we will play that. Like, demons attacking her village, you killing them with Miriam, while Dominique, maybe at the background, slays them with her holy exorcist powers. That would be really fun to see. Anyways, Anne now looks after the shop whe Dominique is out doing "something". She doesn't look "bright and cheerful" with that face, but, well, she lost her parents, so, that's understandable. As some already said, i don't think the shop will be the same with her. I think that, maybe, Dominique will be out at regular intervals AND at some plot-point times. And when that happen, maybe Anne offers some discounts, or put some exclusives to be sold? That would be interesting. CLOSING COMMENTS
This was such a great update, i had A LOT to talk about it, so, this text became way longer than i expected. Loved the fanarts (the comics one i saw before, by the way). They commented about showing up a "updated stage", that can both means some of the old footage, updated, or a totally new scenario. Can't wait already! Great update guys! That's all folks! I made a new thread. It is a poll asking if you want Dominique to be a playable character AND a discussion about how she could be playable. The pool is there to check the community's opinion AND, if favorable, to show to the dev team our desire, if they didn't thought about that yet.
See the thread HERE! Vote and discuss!

Dominique Baldwin (ドミニク・ボールドウィン) Age: 25 An exorcist dispatched by the church, she supports Miriam as the shopkeeper. She speaks in a posh way, but she treats everyone kindly. While the church believes Miriam and Gebel to be demons, Dominique trusts them as human beings. In order to foil Gebel's ambitions, she asks her old friend Johannes to summon Miriam.
The UPDATE 51 bring us three new characters. Alfred, Anne and Dominique. Considering Dominique's role, her striking beautiful looks and other information, i think she would fit perfectly as a playable character. Although i think this is most likely, we never know and there is a good chance that she will end up being more of a supporter role than anything (or maybe even a completely unexpected villian?). Considering all that, i wanted to check the community's feeling about Dominique as a playable character and, if you agree to that (if you voted YES in the poll), HOW would you want her to be playable, specially by answering some questions below. 1) PLOT-DRIVEN VS DEMOTED TO EXTRA
Almost all Igavania games had extra characters to play, unlocked after finishing the main game. The thing is, this was between the extra character being nothing more than that, a simply "extra" with absolutely no plot whatsoever (like Richter on Symphony of the Night, Albus on Order of Ecclesia, Julius on Aria of Sorrow), or the character actually having a plot (like the Sisters in Portrait of Ruin). Those things have ups and down. If Dominique has a plot, that requires more resources and more time to develop her as a playabe character. Developing games is all about resources and time. And things are limited. Give Dominique a plot-driven quest and something in the main game wil have to be axed. If Dominique has no plot, it is way easier, but can also feel really empty and non-fullfilling enough. What do you think? Dominique should be a playable character with a plot (with the possiblity of axing something from the main game, due to resources and time needed) or just an fun extra? 2) LOW LEVELING VS FULL LEVELING
When Igavanias had extra playable characters, in some of the games, the characters was really powerful right from the beginning and had most of the resources needed to finish the game. They had no leveling of sorts, just some upgrades. Richter in Symphony of the Night could have his Health increased with HP Max Up, but that's all. Maxim on Harmony of Dissonance too, alongside increasing the hearts count. Julius from Aria of Sorrow increased his damage and defense after killing bosses, by getting healing spheres. On the other hand, some games had extra playable characters that could be leveled up completely, like everyone on Portrait of Ruin, Dawn of Sorrow and Albus on Order of Ecclesia. What do you think? Dominique should be a playable character with "low leveling" (small upgrades to get, mostly powerful from the beginning) or full leveling? (starting at LV1, capable of reaching max level like Miriam). 3) GAMEPLAY
ALL Igavanias gave us extra characters that were way different from the main ones. Ricther was completely different from Alucard in Symphony of the Night. Maxim from Juste in Harmony of Dissonance. Joachim from Leon in Lament of Innocence and such. Even so, some of them used the same basic mechanics. Alucard, Julius and Yoko from Dawn of Sorrow had weapons, "souls" disguised as sub-weapons and physical abilities to traverse the castle, pretty much like Soma. On the other hand, the Sisters in Portrait of Ruin was so different that they used the Stylus from the DS to attack, could fly anywhere and their MP recovered ultra-fast. What do you think? How Dominique should play? More or less like Miriam, equipped with"shards" disguised as exorcizing powers (using the same commands that we use for Miriam Shards, with built-in exclusive powers) or with a completely different and unique gameplay? That's all folks!
Some warnings: I didn't asked if you would like Dominique to have a full game, with her own shop, equipments to get, plot and powers to discover like Miriam because that would essentially require the dev team to built a second game. That is really time and resource consuming and i can bet that is not possible, or half of the main game would have to be axed, based on common sense.

After the great discussions that showed up in my first thread about this theme ( here) i decided that it would be interesting to go deeper on that. More details that matters a LOT, and we should discuss, while new updates aren't showing up. 1) COPY AND PASTE ENVIROMENTS
Repetition of levels/environments, either in part or whole. This is not always a bad thing, it can make the game longer, and sometimes, it is the only way, given the resources, to make a game longer. A good example is Portrait of Ruin, where you play at a castle and can enter in magical portraits that transports you to other maps with specific themes based on their paintings. After finishing the whole castle and the main portraits, the player discovers four new portraits that are just copy and paste enviroments, with altered colors and layouts, of the main four ones. And they are still fun. Symphony of the Night did the same, duplicating a whole castle, changing it's layout by reversing it, it's colors and overall looks to extend the game. Sometimes, you just can't make a game longer without doing that. What do you think? Bloodstained: Ritual of the night should have copy and paste enviroments if that, resources-wise, is the only way to make the game longer (to match the 1600+ rooms castle IGA promised, for instance). Or it is better if the game is smaller, but with more unique enviroments overall?
2) HARD LOCKS VS SOFT LOCKS
"Lock" is a common game-wise term, about progression, specially in Igavania-type games. You play until you reach an area that you cannot traverse at all. You need an ability to proceed. That is a lock. Hard Lock is when it is 100% impossible (without glitches) to traverse the area. Or you have the required ability, or you simply can't go further. Soft lock is when, although hard, it is possible to traverse the area without the required ability. This can be designed to be this way, to reward creative players, or can be a design flaw (and that we call sequence breaking. In 99% of time, sequence breaking is not intended). Igavania-esque games always had both hard locks and soft locks. Some players prefers soft locks over hard locks, to reward creative gameplay. While others prefers hard locks, to make a game more "linear" and with a more definite pattern. What do you think? Bloodstained: Ritual of the night should have more hard locks, or more soft locks? 3) BACKTRACKING
All Igavania-esque games have backtracking, of course. But that can be both required, optional, and it can be minimal or really prevalent. Symphony of the Night had a lot of mandatory backtracking, you always needed to go back in forth in search for abilities and itens to proceed, while Lament of Innocence had almost 100% of backtracking being mostly optional. You could really play the game in a very linear way, if you want too, with most backtracking being for power ups. What do you think? Bloodstained: Ritual of the night should be loaded with mandatory backtracking, or most of it should be optional? 4) DEGRADED BOSS
A boss who, after being defeated, returns later in the game, not as a boss, but as a regular enemy instead (sometimes more than one appearing at once). For some, all bosses should be unique, to make the fight against them rewarding. But sometimes, making degraded boss opens rooms for more enemies by overusing it. What do you think? Bloodstained: Ritual of the night should have degraded bosses, or all bosses should be unique? That's all folks!

Laura sure had a lot of "power" and plenty of "plot". I would love to see a new character as "powerful" as her in Bloodstained. (I'm not kidding).
Anyways, there is an aspect of the plot that IGA said a lot of time ago and very few noticed, in a interview. This: "The Alchemists’ process of grafting magi-crystals into Miriam's flesh has turned her into a beacon that calls demons down to earth—an experimental puppet. And there are dozens more like her, abandoned children and orphans whose disappearance no one would ever notice. When the Alchemists took the children in, they formed friendships with each other—the only others dealing with the same situation. Gebel was one of Miriam’s closest friends."IGA also said that those children ALL had special powers, but none of them survived. What if some do survived? I thought that, maybe, one of the characters could be one of the children cursed with the magi-crystal curse to became a beacon to call demons down to earth, that also survived the curse and received unique powers for itself. He/She could be a supporter for Miriam, maybe giving out quests. Or maybe he/she is a supporter of Gebel, on his dream to wreak havoc in everything. Another thing i thought is that maybe Gebel could have a cult of followers. 10 years has passed between Miriam's curse and her awakening and Gebel was cursed before her. During those 10 years, Gebel destroyed the guild and probably did other hideous things, (Zangetsu is a demon hunter, he hunt demons during those 10 years). That is enough time to build a cult of followers. Maybe those three (or two? or one?) could be followers of Gebel, in his plan to bring the "fall of mankind". Gebel's reasoning is something we also have little information as of now. He wanted to build a place for Miriam, but the curse devoured his mind and now he wants to destroy everything. Why? Insanity? Revenge? Evilness? There are a lot of details we don't know yet, so, it is a little hard to speculate.

Well, unscheduled update 50 is out, with the confirmation of what we expected. Here a bit-by-bit analysis, as usual of myself: ABOUT THE DOWNFALL OF WII U and NINTENDO SWITCH
I'm not going to say that i didn't saw, in the first video showing Wii U, how that plataform was doomed to dust, but anyways, we all see that coming when Nintendo annoucend Switch. Not much to say about it. But it is infortunate anyways. Nintendo Switch seems to be a "native" plataform for Bloodstained (Wii U looked like it too). I'm still a bit concerned and treating Switch with caution. Nintendo has being doing a lot of wrong things in the last few years (although Zelda was a huge hit). ABOUT THE REFUND
It is nice that they are doing this for the fans that backed for Wii U. They would'nt need to do that, since Kickstarter works as a donation service, as far as i know. You give money, and you don't expect to have your money back. That's how it works. (Anyone correct me if i'm wrong). So, it is very considerate they are offering refund options. ABOUT THE NEW CHARACTERS
I am the only one that saw IGA talking about new characters? "Your regularly scheduled update is coming very soon! IGA has prepared introductions for three of the characters Miriam will meet as Bloodstained gets underway…"
I am the only one hyped for that?! I am wrong, or IGA is talking about THREE NEW CHARACTERS?! That's all folks!

(...) 5: In regards to the ammo, do we know if ammo acts as ammo in this game? I mean does it deplete each time you use it and then you can't? Or is it like a mass effect 2 thing where it's basically just another equipment slot that affects the properties of your gun or whatever. (...) . It was revealed that ammo will work as ammo. It will deplete each time you use it, and there will be several ammo types. Guns will not have elements (like fire, ice) their ammo will. So, you can equip different amo at guns. You can see here, at this screenshot from one of the updates, that ammo actually have a display, with a /999 cap. The cap may be that, or maybe it starts lower, but there is a cap and ammo is deplete each time you use it.

Same whip with different materials? We already have tons of information about many aspects of Bloodstained: Ritual of the night. There is one element, through, that we are really lacking info. The forging system. As far as we know, Bloodstained will have a forging system, where you will be able to forge equipment, weapons and armor. Kickstarter page says: " It's not an Igavania without leveling, and Bloodstained will be no exception. In addition to the classic elements everyone’s come to expect, enemies in Bloodstained will drop a wide variety of items, materials, and magi-crystals necessary to create the items that will get you safely through Gebel’s castle."And it also says: "Crafting: As you explore, fight enemies, and complete quests you will gain experience and become more powerful, acquiring a variety of weapons along the way. Enemies will also drop materials you can use to craft new weapons and abilities using Miriam's training in alchemy."Could the eye represent a Magi-Crystal? We don't know much about how the forging will work in the game. Considering that, I ASK:
1) HOW DO YOU WANT THE MATERIALS TO WORK?
Each equipment could be forged by a definite set of materials (for instance, three different materials). Or maybe, some equipments would require more types. And each material is required only one unit, or more than one? Equipment can be "broken" into materials to be reused in other equipments?
2) YOU WANT THE SHOP TO SELL MATERIALS, WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT?
This question was addressed in a old thread of mine, but it makes sense here, so, i'm repeating it. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night relies a lot on enemy drop (shards and materials, equipments and such). Even so, do you think the shop could seel materials, weapons and equipment? only materials? only equipment? Or the shop must be restricted to only basic healing items?
3) WHAT ABOUT THE MAGI-CRYSTALS?
Magi-crystals are the name given to the crystals fused into Gebel and Miriam's body. And we know that enemies can also drop magi-crystals to be used for forging. So, how relevant magi-cyrstals are to forging? They add magic, or elements to the forged equipment? Or are just another piece of material with a cool name?
4) CRAFTING ONLY AT SPECIFIC AREAS OR ANYWHERE?
Forging can work anywhere? the game's menu has a option to forge things right away? Or you prefer for the forging to work only at designated areas (maybe a furnace, the shop, Johannes...)?
5) CONSUMABLE ITEMS BEING CRAFTED?
We already know that guns ammo will be crafted. You want the forging system to work only with equipment or you also want the ability to forge potions, other healing items (food? cooking?) and other types of consumables?
That's all folks!
