Given the fact that porting it for the WiiU isn't simple, asking for a 3ds version is a bit much IMO...As I think a vita port was.

I find many online women (in gaming) rarely openly announce their gender unless they are married or have a boyfriend who is active with them unless they're an attention monger or a catfish. Most of the 'normal' girls kinda just act like normal people and not really bring gender up, I suspect because they fear some weirdo or creeper will start bothering them. I mean this is obviously a generalization that does not apply to every lady but I'm sure it's a significant factor as to why they may appear under represented.

I don't play a whole lot but I've played several. I often stronly suggest Eien no Aselia aka Aselia the Eternal to people. It's IMO a great entry point to VNs, it has enough gameplay elements to keep you entertained as a gamer who might not like Visual novels (so if you play it and you like the game but felt the VN aspect of it was a drag you know now to consider much more), but its VN appeal is good enough on its own as well.
I just think the very first chapter or two, or prologue and chapter 1, something like that...Anyway it drags on, and starts you off in some annoyingly typical high school setting, which has very very little in common with the rest of the game. I can see someone playing the first chapter and thinking they hate the game when the first chapter is practically a freakish offshot from within the game.

Err, you miss my point. I'm trying to say that sometimes, a solution isn't even required depending on how significant leveling up is. You can't solve a problem without a problem existing in the first place. Sometimes level mechanics make a game too easy yes, sometimes they don't... sometimes when they make the game too easy, the dynamics of that problem are different. For example. Sometimes games have additive/subtractive damage formulas, and allow the player to make their character full on defense and take 1s and 0s from virtually everything. The solution to this problem woudln't necessarily be making level ups slower or weaker, but to make the damage formulas multiplicative, or perhaps by adding a piercing element to all attacks, or something. However this wouldn't necessarily solve other games where leveling up makes it too easy.
I'm all over proposing solutions and ideas to problems, but 'leveling problem' is just too vague without a specific example.
One concept I really dislike though is making it so every enemy you encounter magically leveling up with you whenever you level up. This imo makes the whole leveling process meaningless, and oftentimes makes it so there are arbitrary bad levels and good levels depending on the part of the game you are at. A great example of this being done in a way that's just horrible is the SNES RPG The 7th saga. *shudders*.

I voted nightmare difficulty + roguelike mode... however I have intention to play the normal difficulty before nightmare difficulty, and I look forward to it, and I imagine I'll enjoy it more because it'll be my first time playing and everything will be new. I don't really treat nightmare mode differently than normal mode, to me it's just an extension of the 'normal game mode'. But I voted nightmare because I'm most excited that the base game will have that level of challenge to keep me occupied for longer.

I generally dislike games that allow you to level items up. Because that encourages you to hoard level item leveling materials, then blow them all at once on some good drop or another, then you're basically 'stuck' with that item forever.
Leveling up your character does NOT neccesarily make a game easy, it just depends on how easy it is to level, how significant levels are, and how well enemies scale in the game. I dislike how dark souls is like the standard for games people consider not easy, because there are countless more difficult games before it. But it really does make a good example of how level ups can make a meaningful impact on your character, but truth is if you're having trouble with something at level 200, being level 250 wont make THAT much of a difference.
Then there are games like Ys, where the leveling is extremely...monitored...basically when you enter a new dungeon that's pretty high level for you, the enemies practically 1shot you and you take like 30 hits to kill one..but you level up after killing a single one like 4 times in a row, then in all of like 3 minutes only, you'll be able to survive 4 hits from them and take like 8 hits to kill em... 3 more minutes, and they'll be giving you only 1 experience point each and you need like 60k to level. It's really pretty silly how fast those games go from making you level up faster than light, to not leveling at all when you are the appropriate level.
In any case, I want this game to offer the player some customization with their levels. Strength, vitality, luck, etc... Some people dislike doing this because they feel insecure about their choice, but fact is these games can normally let you get by simply by rotating them 1 at a time. These aren't online MMOs where people will kick you from the group if you aren't the 'proper' spec. Just do whatever and have fun with it... then you can play the game again with a completely different set of level up choices, the game will feel different, you'll enjoy it, and you can do it again. what's not to like?

I'll get PC in case the game gets a modding scene. for my digital version I may get a vita one, or a ps4 one... not sure. I'd rather have it on ps4 but I don't actually have ps4, and I doubt I'll get one anytime soon.

Game gets batman style hit effects, "POW", "BAM", "BIFF", "OOOF!", etc.
Enemies level up each time they hit you.
monster maids have to clean up every time you destroy any furniture for fixtures.

I don't mean this in a "your wish is wrong" way, so don't take it like that, I just want to really specify what I like.
I frequently see people say how much they want a mirror castle or an inverse castle. When I played SOTN, I really was happy about the inverse castle because despite how far in the game I was, getting to the inverse castle basically meant "You still have more than half of the game to do, and the next half will be harder and more fun!"... That's about it for me. The whole being upside down thing wasn't really that cool to me, and re-using the same archetecture made the inverse castle lack some of the wonder of exploring it for the first time.
So basically, I want to NOT have an inverse/mirror castle, HOWEVER, I do NOT mean that in a way where the amount of castle to explore will be cut in half, I want this to be the biggest castle vania ever as promised without having to resort to a copy-paste-flip with the architecture (I realize that the monsters, treasure, decor, etc isn't copy paste, so don't mention it). I'd rather our biggest castlevania ever to be 100% new, not 50% new and then partially repeated. I hope I'm articulating well here.
Of course, it being bigger than any other castlevania by 25% or whatever and THEN flipped for another 125% making it 250% would be best! buuut, I wont get my hopes up lol.
My other wants:
1: Mod support on steam, if very hard isn't hard enough, making mods to make it harder would be cooler. Not to mention mods to modify the equipment. I like it when games have a great variety of equipment, but alot of the time there is no real choice that doesn't make the player intentionally weaken themselves (which is perfectly ok, I do it myself too sometimes), but it would be nice if you could choose what you want to use endgame without feeling like you are intentionally imposing a handicap on yourself if you just so happen to get crisigram or whatever it's called (I actually never use it cuz it's way too op, but I find in general, the variety of weapons and armor is really kind of wasted, alot of the stuff you get late game is obviously inferior to stuff you can't help but get long before them.
Maybe even make crazy mods featuring like 3-4 bosses at once for each boss =P
2: Meaningful currency. I love shopping in real life, and in games. But in games shopping is generally pretty pointless beyond early game. Once you get that initial gear setup, you can generally afford anything new for sale as long as it's available without even trying to farm gold or whatever except for special items and bonus items and whatnot like music boxes or that 1 item that's 10 million gold, etc.
3: I should have put this first...but alot of the stuff I want seems to be in already, and I'm mentioning it just to show that I'm most certainly positive about this even if the rest of my wants look unreasonable. Stuff like being mostly gothic castle setting instead of that jungle mayan desert nonsense in LoS. Music made by Yamane instead of I don't know who but it sounds like lord of the rings, not effing castlevania...When I qq about this people tell me I don't like lord of the rings music? What's wrong with me?! Well, lord of the rings music is not bad, and it suits the movie...but it most certainly isn't effing legendary.. Castlevania music IS legendary, its peers are Zun and Falcom/Ys...AND THATS IT. Nothing else compares IMO. Etrian odyssey is almost there but not quite. Oh...and stained glass windows are awsome. Castlevania always had more than most games, but I don't think it was ever really a feature. It being so now, I'm really excited about that!
4: I think this will be the case, but I want the castle to be designed in a way where you have a great variety of options in terms of travel/explore path.
5: I mentioned this in KS, but the only response I got was kinda not really what I was talking about but whatever. I would like the leveling system to involve player choice. So that when you level up, you can choose to invest 2 points in strength and one in int.. or 3 points in luck, etc. I think many people don't appreciate this very much because they don't really care and they just wanna get on with the action. The reason why I like this because IMO it adds replay value.. play the game spending 90% of your level ups in one stat, then try another the next game, etc, what's not to like about THAT?
6: I want the hard difficulties to be really hard, and I'm not a dark souls machoman bandwagon jumper... don't get me wrong, I love dark souls, and demons' souls, and I really want a ps4 for bloodborne. My point is that I don't suddenly think hard is good because of dark souls (I don't even think it's that hard anyway, and I don't mean that in a I'm so good way, just that other games with less hype that can be harder isn't recognized as such just cuz less hype). HOWEVER, I don't want the hard to be almost exclusively due to instant death pits/spikes/traps/terrain/lava/whatever + medusa heads and crows (though I will accept that for classic mode). I want the enemies themselves to be the difficulty, WITHOUT using terrain and traps as a crutch for how easy they themselves really may be. I want hard mode enemies to be smart and deadly, like the enemies in fortune summoners... hopefully other people have played that. The game itself isn't THAT hard imo, but the fact is all the difficulty is that the enemies are trying to kill you.. like an actual player is playing them, and they are really TRYING to kill you AND survive, like its' a darn multiplayer fighting game... not just run towards you and have a 20% chance of swinging their weapon every 0.2 seconds or whatever.
7: Gebel is the villain right? I think, If I got it wrong and that's the other good guy, I mean the villain... In any case, I want the villain to be as memorable as dracula, which is a tall order. So far looking at his picture and his story, he just isn't up to snuff yet. I'm hoping that will be his early story, and he will grow into a real respectable villain by the end... I Also want a villainous side-kick that is actually competant, and not comical relief like death...and I want these to remain as respectable for many games to come.. which leads to:
8: I want this game to be as good as I would expect any castlevania that isn't named lords of shadow to be (I actually ADORE the 2 3d castlevania games on the PS2 too btw), and I want it to be a new Francaise with many games to come afterwards.
bonus, 9: Then konami trying to cash in and make more castlevania games that try to rip this one off after (but still be different enough to enjoy) with all the things I like and not the things some moron thinks we want again simultaneously for DOUBLE the castlevania production would be fantastic! >=)
