@bloodymiri and Dragon_of_Dojima if you want to keep more up to date on what's going on with Indivisible, you could join the discord server (hopefully that link still works). Angel-Corlux and Question are there as well as dev team members from time to time. They've got their noses to the grindstone so things are somewhat quiet but the discord is still a good place to learn more, ask questions and have a front row seat when things start ramping up.

The only thing I'll say is that it is not Shovel Knight. Duh. Because obviously it will be Shield Knight! In all seriousness, if the latest update is accurate in that its a character nobody will guess, that can only be true if its a character that has yet to be revealed publicly. Literally every other publicly revealed character (Anne, Mysterious Man, playable characters from COTM, etc.) has been guessed over and over again (not just now but over the entire development of the game). So y'all should save your breath or try to guess the actual narrative of the game and choose from there. Maybe the last playable character is the "real villain"! Who is the real villain? Who knows but its a better guess that what everyone else is posting if the update is accurate/not misleading in that comment

I'm very happy with this update, but after taking a quick glance at the Kickstarter page, many, many people are only now requesting a platform change. Why on earth do so many people wait until the 11th hour? It doesn't seem reasonable to expect 505 and Fangamer to make last minute second requests so late into production. Oh well, I'm personally looking forward to my GOG and physical copies. There are probably a LOT of backers that haven't been paying close attention to the project and missed the e-mails about platform changes. I know I've missed e-mails and deadlines for platform changes for other projects. Not everyone does or can keep up to date with every update.

So lots of people asked you, Question and Angel-Corlux , in the discord if this trailer today was going to reveal the release date and if some of the online postings with the current release date were accurate. I feel like multiple times we weren't given the standard "no comment" routine but actively told "no that's wrong" or "bring you hype way down", etc. In the grand scheme of things its not that big a deal but why lie about this rather than just be evasive or say "no comment" as most companies would do in this scenario? It's weird to lie about something that doesn't matter in the end no? P.S. It is good to finally learn the release date! Though I will have to hear about what features are making at launch, how the Switch and other platforms hold up performance-wise, etc. before going into full hype mode.

Trying to compare cartoons to video game FPS are an apple to oranges comparison. Video games are an interactive medium, cartoons are not. They have different needs and have different goals. To say nothing of the fact comparing 2D Cell art to 3D model animation is going to be tough. 30 v 60 FPS isn't just a graphical issue but has gameplay implications for responsiveness, timing, feel, etc. That is not to say 30 FPS is a dealbreaker or anything but people (not everybody but not an insignificant number) are going to notice and not just from how the game looks.
