I had completely forgotten about the quote in the credits (also surprised that I saw it in the shortened version in my play through, COOL!).
I also had forgotten what I had written.... and it made me laugh, which is a good sign. Awesome!

Wow, I really like the t-shirt. Of course, such things will always come down to individual preferences, but I really appreciate the effort for making something special, and not just slapping over-used logos/graphics like other Kickstarter campaigns!

roguedragon05 -- that's what I'm hoping! It would be cool if they filmed the process, or parts of it, too. It's funny, though, thinking back -- I had saved up to replace my windows, but used the $$ for the tier upgrade instead. Priorities, right?

How about everyone else, do you wish you had spent more... or maybe even less now that we are almost to the end of this journey? Also I never heard anything about the things like the stained glass pieces or the silver rings or the dinner with IGA, what it was like to get your pet into the game or help design a room. I'm curious if anyone can show pictures, tell stories now or after the games release. I haven't heard anything either, still waiting to be asked my ring size.... *twiddle thumbs*

From my post in the thread on the update, I'm going with "curry rice"

I admit, I had to giggle a bit with this update.
カヒライス (kahi raisu) is really close to "curry rice" (カレーライス, karei raisu).

In particular, I've got a pair of sai that I want to have crossed (tips up) on the wall.
Anybody have ideas or experience with this sort of thing? Most wall mounts seem to be made for swords. I can probably some up with some sort of simple bracketing system, but I wanted to see if there were easier solutions (also, I do want the 'blades' to cross, so there has to be some amount of offset for one of them).
Weird question, I know, but ideas welcome.

Well, they made it just in the nick of time. Quite the nail biter!
If this had been their first Kickstarter, I think I would be a lot more worried about how it all turned out, but they'll do just fine.

It's definitely picked up in the last couple of days, and we're about to hit the 48 hour mark with about 40% left (at 48 hours, notices go out for those that selected "remind me").
I guess the real question is whether that reminder will be enough, particularly with the absolute flood of emails for all the shopping stuff vying for consumers' money at this very moment....

Nope, this one ain't going to make it. Short of a miracle -- and by miracle, I mean somebody mysteriously donating a large amount. And by somebody, I mean the creators or their friends. Of course, there's always the other miracle, where the project gets that key exposure on some high-traffic site. I've seen that happen, and those types of miracles are better miracles.
But at the moment, none of the higher tiers are taken. Even the mid-range tiers are barely populated. Their voting thing had about 20 votes. These are all not-good signs.

They're going to be lucky to hit 100%, let alone stretch goals... I'm a bit surprised, but I guess it's the difference between Zelda (a previous project of theirs) and Castlevania?

Ok, not really bloodstained, but silver pins covered in red Japanese lacquer....
I backed this guy's previous project years ago (samurai jewelry), and he does good work. He's got a new Kickstarter up. Check it out, if that's your thing...!

Well, that was a pretty incredible week. Did anybody catch the final tally? I had to go to bed before BotW run started and they were above 1.5M.
I was a bit sad about the Twitch chat room, though -- it was about 95% fast spam the entire time, I turned it off for most of the time.

I just wanted to say I finally backed the game, via Backerkit. ^^ Will these additional funds count towards the stretch goals? It's a question that stays in my mind still. Nice! Typically, the answer is "yes." When Shantae did their Kickstarter, they kept PayPal open for a long time (year or so) and all those additions went toward stretch goals. I think we ended up hitting one or two more that way.

The quick answer: no, the PayPal amount isn't included in what you SEE in Kickstarter. But the people running the Kickstarter project "add on" the PayPal amount in order to determine the total funding (and for the 'goals').
Kickstarter and PayPal aren't linked. If people running the project are wise, they will not open a PayPal option until they've secured their Kickstarter goal -- the problem is that PayPal takes your money right away, but Kickstarter will only take your money at the end of the campaign, IF the campaign hit its goal. If you opened up PayPal before the KS goal was met, there's a chance you could end up w/ the KS failing (and getting nothing there), but still have money through PP -- that would be awkward.
But again, every KS campaign that I've seen that opens PP has combined both amounts to determine the official stretch goal total. BS did this as well.

Although notice that it's "enhancing" with real instruments. That doesn't mean it's going to be a fully orchestral OST. But that's still pretty cool....!
