My experiences using IGG have been pretty straight forward and simple. I'm also one who makes an effort to make myself informed about any subject I take even a small interest in. So I can't really say I can see the perspective of those who decry IGG is so hard to use as to avoid the site (though I of course sympathize with whatever issues Goobsausage had) or don't understand the difference between fixed and flexible funding but I recognize that is an issue for some people out there and thus for this campaign. There seems to be a degree of apathy and ignorance that is holding this campaign back and its frustrating as it doesn't even represent a failure on Lab Zero's part, its more a function of circumstance and I guess KS's profile blowing up to the detriment of IGG over the years since the Skullgirls campaign.
Anyway, at this point, all we can do is be positive. Being negative or getting concerned/depressed won't get this funded faster and may turn off fence-sitters (backer psychology is weird). All we can do is continue to calmly and politely explain to others why this project is awesome and something they should support. The big push probably won’t come till the final days – we just have to get in the best possible position to take advantage of that push. Things are getting tight but things are also far from over and I'm not sure discussing "what could have been" is especially productive, at least right now. Happy thoughts people

There are definitely no pressing controversies with this campaign. I know this because I check practically every single day.
Believe me when I say that the Skullgirls community is rather underrated. They're good people and when there are issues, they tend to resolve themselves very quickly. I know this because I've seen it.(It doesn't hurt that Mike Z is always around to answer questions)
These guys are as clean as a vacuum sealed whistle. Go give this campaign as much support as possible.
Just downloaded and played the demo on my ps4 (I avoided watching gameplay). It was really awesome! Has a slight LoD feel to the combat but much more intense. This better not end up like P.T. where I have an awesome demo on my console but no game.
Super quick question: Are they going to be secret characters, like the Battletoads and Kratos in Shovel Knight? Or are they actual playable Incarnations? Also, asking Toby Fox if he wants to lend some Undertale characters, at least Undyne, would be absolutely helpful, thanks to the huge Undertale fanbase.
Fully playable Incarnations.

Will probably ask in the AMA thread, but I'm wondering if you guys were able to approach Way Forward for some Shantae action. This isn't a request, but I'm curious as to whether that was a possibility
I'm not going to go into specifics over who all we spoke to, etc.
...But let's just say we're way ahead of you guys on the crossovers people are asking for.

Miriam for Indivisible! It needs to happen!
@dragon_of_Dojima, whatever that link is to, my work computer blocked it as pornography lol. Uhhh, hope that doesn't flag me for some trouble here. I really didn't get the feeling from your description that it was anything like that.
The link was a gif of Ajna and the 3 incarnations flying on a missile in outer space to TJ Combo's theme song in the new Killer Instinct. The reason it was blocked? The original url had the word "hentai" in it would be my guess...despite there being no hentai or anything objectionable in it whatsoever. *sigh* Hope you don't get in trouble.
New Incarnation, Baozhai the Pirate, has been revealed!
A true demon of the sea, Baozhai of the Black Jade and her armada are feared and despised by the naval fleets of both the Iron Kingdom and the Jade Dynasty. Though said to be a crude, ruthless pirate, she calls herself an entrepreneur. For years her crews have routinely attacked illicit Soma shipping routes and blockaded ports involved with the Soma drug trade. Many believe she simply steals for her own gain, yet rumors of a more humanitarian motive persist.
Neither empire have yet been able to hinder her, but the sea can be a cruel mistress indeed. A recent encounter with a massive sea monster decimated her forces and destroyed many of their vessels. Land-locked but not deterred, Baozhai is determined to rebuild a new crew and head back out to sea.
Also a look at Shovel Knight in the Indivisible style:
Oh no! I love that pirate! Female pirates are the cooooolest! It hurts so much to see how far away from the goal they are! I played the demo and I LOVED it! I need this game made or I will freak out! Does ANYONE have rich friends or family here?!
If they had more time they might be able to do it...does Indiegogo allow extensions or anything like that? I've heard it does, but I'm not sure...
In the AMA, Lab 0 said: We will extend the campaign IF we hit the 60% mark ($900.000). And Indiegogo needs be warned about a extension before 3 days of the end of campaign. So we need hit 60% in 6 days.
Tell people about the stream people. Max has a way with hype. --->>Sub Edit. The stream was mostly positive, but they were mostly talking about Street Fighter 5 and barely seemed interested in the game. Most in the stream wanted him to play Mario Party 10 and one guy even donated $1000 to Max for him to do it. Max said he donated to the campaign, but doesn't want to play it. He doesn't play RPGs. Ok, that was a bit of a wash. At least someone of his popularity tried it.
From the moment she received her first oud as a child, everyone knew Zahra was destined for greatness. As she grew older, her fame in the region also grew, and stories of her music inspiring heroes in battle, entrancing wild beasts, and even helping a barren woman to conceive, began to spread.
The leader of a nearby tribe caught wind of this and sought to use her skills to his own advantage. Thinking he could use her music to inspire his warriors to victory, he kidnapped her and pressed her into service. But Zahra's sullen song on the eve of battle affected him so deeply that he negotiated peace with his rivals that very night.
She now wanders the land, going where her heart takes her, hoping to spread joy to all through song.
Tenoch is the most famous Ōllamaliztli player in the city-state of Ixtapoala, renowned for hanging virtually motionless in the air to intercept the ulli ball, as well as the devastating speed and accuracy of his returns.
Ōllamaliztli matches are often used by politicians as symbolic proxies for political discussion, and a recent match against a neighboring city-state was rigged by corrupt officials. Every other player agreed to throw the game, except Tenoch, who single-handedly led his team to victory.
As conflict erupts in the region, Tenoch finds himself fearing for his life, and begins the arduous task of exposing the corruption and clearing his name.

Money is coming in like crazy now. The campaign is at $891,000 and a Lab Zero employee on another forum said they made arrangements with IGG for an extension (if a campaign reaches 60% of its goal with more than 72 hours left, they can qualify for one).
I can't remember any big crowdfunding projects getting an extension before. I wonder how that's going to impact marketing since early promo material said this week has the deadline and the campaign will have to compete for time/money with Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday at the end of the month. I hope the momentum doesn't slow down.
Yeah I'm not sure what is going to happen to the momentum if the extension happens and competition with holiday shopping at the end of this month will complicate things. This campaign has been unlike any other so far. I don't want to celebrate too hard right now though as the game still isn't funded. Anyway, a new Incarnation was revealed a bit ago:
~ Nuna ~
The third daughter of the chieftain of the Wakinyan, Nuna shares her sisters' gift - the ability to commune with nature. Drawing on the blessing of the Deohako, she can attune herself to all kinds of vegetation, encouraging them to grow and blossom. But she is young, and does not yet know the full extent of her abilities.
Together, the three sisters provide their tribe with an almost unending bounty. Recently, they have begun to share their surplus with neighboring tribes, hoping to form a Tribal Union and bring an end to the long years of relative isolation.
Being the youngest daughter and her father's obvious favorite, many in the tribe feel that she must venture away from his coddling to truly grow and mature. Though she doesn't flinch at hunting animals, the thought of hurting other people upsets her, and a future leader cannot ignore the reality of violence. Understandably reluctant to leave, Nuna is nonetheless excited to share her gift with others and experience more of the world and its flora.

Lanshi is a dog, which can only mean one thing: reincarnation as an animal, resulting from his ignorant ways in a past life.
Captured as a pup, Lanshi was mercilessly abused by his new owner, who hoped to turn the massive beast into a vicious guard dog. But throughout years of mistreatment, he somehow remained friendly and obedient. Eventually dismissed as useless, Lanshi was abandoned one winter morning to wander the desolate mountains alone. He now lives a lazy life taking frequent naps under the sun, and survives on scraps provided by the adoring townspeople of his new domain, challenged by none.
Of all the questions surrounding him, the most mysterious is how this seemingly docile dog possesses the Vajra, a powerful relic that allows him to conjure and manipulate lightning when threatened. Karma works in mysterious ways - perhaps the artifact is somehow connected to Lanshi's previous misdeeds.
As of now, we have 24 days. We can make this work. Keep spreading the word, keep people talking about it and keep people interested people. Let's do this!
Lestaroth: Finally back here. Time to update on about everything!

castledan: Has anyone made a topic about transformations?
Apr 27, 2017 10:16:10 GMT -6
castledan: I think that'd be cool. Like a more detailed function of it. Give us many different abilities to do with the transformation or imagine your transformation evolving as you level up.
