Hello everyone, I want to show you an ongoing Kickstarter project made in Italy.
"Slaps And Beans is a co-operative or single player scrolling beat’ em up game with the addition of platform elements and mini-games in which we interpret the characters of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill who they made famous in their movies of the 70’s and 80’s. The key ingredients of Slaps and Beans are:
Retro pixel art graphics Bud & Terence style fighting system Co-op multiplayer Mini-games A red with yellow tarp Dune Buggy A lot of slaps and a lot of beans (obviously) ..."
The project was funded recently and the release is set for 2017, but the campaign is not over yet and now it's time for the stretch goals. If there are any fans of the duo Bud & Terence and still you did not know about the existence of this project, now is your opportunity!

Good job on making this thread, this is a project that's very close to my heart, and I hope it turns out to be a great beat-em-up and not just a cash-in on the license.
In case you're wondering "who are these two chuckleheads and why should I care?" They are to comedic brawling like Jackie Chan is to comedic martial arts. They're also mostly popular in continental Europe.
Fangamer Steve: Heh, if I had to take a guess, they've probably been suuuper busy with the trip to Croatia and the voice recording sessions (and all of the other magical game-making stuff they do).

purifyweirdsoul: Yeah, and the Croatia presentation and recording bits were like mini updates, to me, and we had a BCB just a few days ago, so...I think fans will be all right for a bit if they were hungry.

Lestaroth: I haven't written a long post in ages here. All done. *fools around now*

crocodile: To be fair (or play devil's advocate, I'm not sure what term to use), most backers have no idea the stuff at Croatia, voice actor recordings or the BCB happened. A formal update still has value. But yeah, I envision they are pretty busy in Japan.

purifyweirdsoul: Yeah, that kind of goes without saying. The more interested a fan is in the project, the deeper he will look for those things, otherwise they are probably content with the last one still for now, speaking most generally.
