I would like to see the Dragonslayer from Berserk (which was in previous Iga games) and I still would like to see small handguns from the previous games too. Makes gameplay interesting

This is a total joke/gag weapon but it wouldn't be the first time something like this was done (Alucart Sword)
Ladies, Gentlemen and everything else, I humbly suggest A PILLOW WEAPON!
It could even be hard-coded so that it only does 1 damage (even with crits). Maybe pave the way for a 1 damage challenge.
Why a pillow? We need more weaponized pillows in video games. That's why.

I would like to see the Crissaegrim in this game. It is kind of a game breaker in SotN, but it is also immensely fun to use.

Yeah, it would have been much more interesting with a whip winning the poll. I would have swung that way myself if I had known what the tally was for.
Specifically, the classic ball-and-chain upgraded whip, horizontally rigid as it extends...would have been great =/ ...because we all KNOW the game was already GOING TO HAVE (multiple) katanas.

I just hope the sound effects in the game are ACE. Who's handling the sound effects? One thing that SOTN most definitely excelled in compared to the other games in the series was sound effects.
FIRE sounded vicious, explosions had a bassy sound, voices had a really cool reverbed out vibe ( think the succubus).... everything sounded great.
What I'm getting at is I hope the swords, and whips ( Lament had greeeeeat whip sounds), and special weapons have really nice sounds to them. Alucard sword for instance sounded fantastic and the sound helps separate it from other weapons just as much as the special visuals did.

Well she will still have whips if you look at the concept art, the katana just has the most powerful of the ultimate weapons between the different teams because it won, that doesnt mean the other ultimates have to suck now does it? >P

Katana's are so awesome that I'm totally fine with it being the strongest. I just hope they make it LOOK cool in-game.
I think it's cool that the new character introduced also had a Katana, makes me think that he's the sorta BELMONT of this series. Miriam is the Alucard/Shanoa hybrid. Although i'd make the argument it's more of an Alucard because the title apes SOTN, and IGA has said SOTN is probably his best game and he wants to top it. So I can see him taking a lot of inspiration from that.
( he already has with the familiars coming back for instance)

Concept art whips...I'm actually kind of rusty in that area, let me see...
Well yes, there is this green thing. I'm hoping for something less...vegetable, though haha. I do think/hope the clan name weapons will be represented one way or another (did they say each one was going to be an "ultimate" weapon? That sounds familiar but I can't 100% recall), but it's too bad there won't be more of an emphasis on the classicvania whip. In all his other games, save perhaps PoR, it's always quite a bit under-represented, even when a whip-like thing is equipable. I think it would have been really nice if one of the unlockable whip characters in an Igavania got whip upgrade drops.
But who knows, I may fall in love with asparagus whip.

Actually, one weapon that i think would make for a really interesting playthrough would be one where the base attack of the weapon is laughable, like 1 or 2 (Chipped katana, this weapon has seen countless masters but has never failed to defeat the opponenent), but the weapons true power lies in its special ability, where its attack power spikes for a few frames after you take damage from an enemy, and the more damage you take the higher the spike is (sort of an homage to samurai films where the 2 main characters face off against each other for one final strike and the victor allows himself to be hit to ensure his strike is fatal, sometimes even at the cost of his own life)

I like any weapon that has a lot of thought into it. The worst weapons were always clearly the ones that showed no visual difference and had no unique attribute to it. It's always fun when you get SPECIAL weapons, they always have fun descriptions and the unique visual or sound effect, or how they work make you grow attached to it...
Till you find the next one of course.

Yes, even if the damascus sword or bekatowa etc had superior attack power for the time, I would be much more likely to stick with a stat-wise inferior weapon that had a unique attack animation/sound or special attack. You're 100% right on that. The attack sounds were indeed great, too, the Alucard/Sword familiar weapon had that satisfying swish noise with it.
Astaroth's idea reminds me of Souls weapons...and also, I'm down with anything that has to be done in a particular frame window. Just frame attacks? I'm down!

Ah yes, the 'vania version of the legendary elven sword. I used that thing for as long as viably possible. Had a great normal attack and special...only thing was, I ended up disappointed that there wasn't an equivalent for ice and lightning.

What about bows/crossbows? That hasn't really been done in an IGA game other than things like spells and magic missile items. Well, there was the "Arcus" Bow Glyph in Order of Ecclesia. Though, I guess that would be a "Spell", considering that all Glyphs in that game used MP. Miriam could easily make use of bows/crossbows too, though there is a certain mythical weapon that I think could function as a projectile in addition to a close-range weapon. The Mystletain! (or "Mistilteinn") - In Norse mythology, it is a non-cruciform holy sword [carved from a sacred tree] that is thought to have originally belonged to Hromundr Gripsson. Through the manipulation of Loki, who claimed to have created this sword, it would later be used to kill Baldr. It could be thrown like a spear or arrow. ^ As for that last sentence, Miriam could primarily wield it like a sword, but she could alternatively use it like a mid-range spear, or "throw" the weapon and have it magically return. (Perhaps Miriam could conjure a spectral bow to "fire" the Mystletain.) I'm sure IGA and Inti-Creates could take quite a few liberties with this sword/spear/arrow for Bloodstained (if such a weapon will be included), and it could possibly be a mid or "late"-game weapon. Not to mention that incarnations of the Mystletain have already been in 2 past Castlevania games: Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. Mystletain - Castlevania Wiki

In case anybody missed it or forgot, check out Cale's first post on the first page a while back. These types of mythological-inspired weapons are much more preferable to...like corny-Blizzard-name weapons or something: frostmourne? flametickle? Agaguthominaliciuos's Thunderscythe of Made-Up Nouns And Many Adjectives? You know what I mean. Somacula Bows...I don't know. Projectile weapons, to be "free" use or unlimited (i.e. not a subweapon), would have to have some kind of drawback (lol drawback, bow, get it?). It would likely end up being really good or pretty bad. Remember Soma's guns? Kind of like that. I think the the most likely way we'd see a bow is still it designated as a special attack/crystal magic. Something like the magic missile consumable in SotN. Otherwise, I guess I could see it as a somewhat slow rate of fire, mid to long range weapon...you would have to stay at range as you'd be kind of weak in-close. If we allow hot-swapping of weapon sets, I imagine -everybody- will have a bow in one slot at that pont, and I don't know if we want to make this just a nice option for people that like bows or essentially make it a mainstay of gameplay? What might be kind of interesting is if there is just one bow, magic or relic type item that allows the firing of arrows, but the arrows themselves differ and have to be crafted via the crafting systems for use. Since we're crafting things anyway and arrows are obviously finite ammo usually, it could be interesting to focus your gameplay on the forging of element-specific/monster weakness arrows. This could be similar in aspects to things I've suggested before where you have to decide between a few different things for the precious resources you've gathered - do you make better armor, a new melee weapon or put together monster-weakness arrows or standard arrows otherwise for monsters you're having trouble with and want to stay away from? It could be an interesting dynamic.
